Completely new, very nice hotel. To bad foor the staff.

You wait at the bar 15 minutes for someone to take your order. When you want to get the check, you must go and ask for it, because no one bothers. Concierge is practically not existent. They wrote me on whatsapp, that they can book the tickets, no problem. I confirmed. The next day they told us it is not possible. After a fast google search, we found guided tour in English! Horror Staff, only front desk was nice and also cleaning.

The staff is very attentive, the room is comfy and spacious.

Location isnt the best you can get in Barcelona

Nice hotel overall, but the only reason why we booked it was the spa. I had discussed this at lenght with them before booking, and they didn't notify me that the spa was closed during my visit. I would've expected to be contacted and informed, since it was the only reason for my stay.

The staff were welcoming and efficient, realised immediately that we had not been allocated our requested twin room and changed our room at check in. Hotel elegant , relaxing and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful , and good.

Cannot fault it

Huge room! We stayed with 2 kids (6 and 3 y.o). Amazing terrace with a pool (not too warm though). Great breakfast! Nice location! Very pleasant stuff! Very good soaps and shampoos in the bathroom!

If I’m picky then I would say the bathroom would need some renovation on the walls and the water in the bathtub was not warm enough.

You can not find more perfect stay as it is in hotel InterContinental Barcelona. Very good breakfast, quiet rooms, clean, kind receprion people, veryone was super.

Only the place for breakfast was very cold.I got ill.

Great service and clean room except for the room window.

Overall, it is a great hotel. I would not book a castle view rooms as it is a bit misleading - you can see a bit of the castle but not worth to pay extra for this.

We paid for breakfast But when you ask for poach eggs They want to charge additional 8 euro Also you can't use leisure facility until you pay additional 45 euro per day

the only thing that I didn't t like or understand is that you have to pay extra to sue the internal pool and sauna ! I don't find this correct from a five star hotel ! and its not making the client comfortable too .

The hotel was informed that it was my birthday, yet no recognition or wishing me happy birthday; no card; not special turndown.

The hotel is sleek, modern, luxurious, relaxed and very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful - huge variety of food and attentive staff. Club Lounge is brilliant and well worth getting. The spa is probably the best spa in Barcelona. The staff were generally all amazing but particular thank you to Martina at reception desk who sorted out an issue for us with great care and empathy - thanks Martina, we won't forget it!
