Easy access from the station to the hotel. Barely 5-10 minutes. Very pleasant and helpful reception and restaurant staff. Beautiful view of the English Channel from my window. Lovely walk track along the Leas just a few steps from the hotel. The hotel has accessibility options for wheelchair users and a lift. The room was clean and warm with a clean bathroom and walk-in shower. The room had the basic amenities of tea/coffee maker, small cupboard safe, complimentary biscuits, bathroom shampoo and wash lotion. The TV had many standard channels - good options for watching. The internet was good too. I loved the placement of the old type of telephone in the room with the pull-out tray for the address book. Although the circular dial had push buttons in it, it provided a rustic touch which I liked. The hotel has a good selection of breakfast to suit most tastes. A 15 minute walk along the Leas bring one into city centre where there is a good selection of restaurants.

I was quite comfortable and didn't find anything to complain about. I suppose a small fridge in the room would have been nice - but nothing that I couldn't do without.

Beautiful sea view, spotlessly clean, huge room and bathroom, very comfortable bed snd the staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Cheap refurb, already showing signs of age. Cheap carpet with no underlay. DREADFUL off-the-shelf “art”. But all minor quibbles really - friendly staff, well-proportioned room, clean. Good price.

Amazing staff, very helpful and kind. Loved the location. Spacious room. Everything we needed was provided.

The room was too warm when we arrived, but we were able to open a window. The highchairs in the restaurant could use a good cleaning (but that was our only remark towards the cleanliness).

When we first entered the room, the toilet had poo skid marks in the bottom . Every day we had to ask for additional bathroom gels as they were only providing for one person.

Liked it all. The building is very smart, a very welcoming reception area, and the young lady on reception at the time was very professional, however extremely friendly, explained about the car parking, and answered any queries I had. The room, superior, was very large, very clean, with all the facilities you would need. The bathroom was of a very good size, with a brilliant over head shower, but also a hand shower to. Bottled water was provided each day, and the room cleaning each day was of a very high standard. The bed was very large and comfortable. Breakfast, wow, best hotel breakfast I have ever had. The location was perfect, Just a little way from the hustle and bustle of the centre. Parking was easy, many allotted roads, clearly explained, very cheap, all sorted at reception on arrival. Bar area was cosy, but bright and airy. Also very clean.

Only one thing. The ugly heavy sofa bed in front of the gorgeous bay window making the view difficult to appreciate............and thats it.
