I loved the private little sitting room next to my bedroom; the view across to the beach; the blanket which I could curl up on the sofa with. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I decided to stay for an extra day; they always made sure I had everything I wanted in my room. Excellent breakfast. A lovely hotel.

There was nothing I can fault the hotel on, it was beyond my expectations.

Beautiful Victorian building that has been superbly maintained. Owner Andrew and staff very accomodating and friendly. Breakfast very good and cooked to order. Room was warm, comfortable and a reasonable size. Room 1 in which we stayed has a very nice view. Set a couple of hundred metres back from sea in a quiet area but just a short walk to bars,restaurants and shops.

Errrm. Nothing i can think of for me personally, but would not recommend for dissabled, as up a short steep hill.

The location was fantastic for what we needed it for . We went specifically to see The sea monster. The owner was very knowledgeable and very friendly . He had carried forward the family business and was very passionate about making sure his clients were made to feel very special

Whilst the room we were in which we specifically requested was to accommodate a 'sea view' the room allocated was the loft conversion. The space whilst very well utilised offered a low ceiling in the bathroom so meant having to duck to get in and out of the shower

I have stayed at queens wood hotel before and Andrew was very helpful then. This time even better staff very helpful and friendly. I have recent been told to avoid wheat. Gluten free cereal and toast no problem breakfast lovely. Room cosy and warm plenty tea coffee and water to hand a big 🙏 to Andrew, Beth and staff visit number 3 looking good.

The room was beautiful and had an amazing view of the town and beach, the bathroom was beautiful as well and the whole hotel had so much character and history, its the loveliest place we could have possibly stayed. The owner was so nice and chatty and nothing was too much work. He very kindly gifted us some prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon. A perfect stay that I will be repeating again soon!
