Lovely rooms and location, delicious breakfast!

The location could not be any better. The property is grand and the room clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient and the breakfast was perfection.

Great location, comfortable room and bedding and great breakfast. AC and view was a bonus.

Bed too small for two big adults. Coffee making facilities were basic, eg; kettle needs to be on table not floor and fridge was not on.

Gorgeous hotel in an excellent location with fantastic hosts. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, fresh and hot with plenty of choice.

location was excellent, staff very helpful especially Oliver he gave us a map with places we wanted to visit marked on it. cooked breakfast was very nice ! a pleasant stay.

we were in the Walcott suite and that is at the top of the property, there was no warning of alll the stairs you had to face with your luggage! also the room is dated especially the bathroom, the shower didn’t have good water pressure.

Very friendly staff

Rooms need maintenance. No lights, no heating and had to wait in the shower for a very long time, as there was no hot water. Very poor continental breakfast. Cappuccino not available, and although croissants were included, we had to ask for them.

The garden room (that we always book if we can) is beautiful, with doors out to the private garden, comfortable beds and spotless bathroom. Tea and coffee are always available and there is room service with a smile. It’s a five minute walk to the Abbey, so a very central location.

The hotel can no longer provide parking, and the closest parking is at the Podium, which is expensive. But we used Your Parking Space for our stay, at a very reasonable price, and buses and taxis are a better choice for getting around Bath.

Decor a little tired in places.

Hosts were amazing and very friendly. I’m a fab location although a bit of a pain carrying cases from the local car park.

The staff where lovely and welcoming. The breakfast was yum and the room was comfortable.

Great location just a few minutes walk to the centre.

Room was very tired and in dire need of some TLC. A broken toilet seat, parts of the taps missing, holes in the walls where wires have been run and holes in bed sheets. For a room this price I’d have hoped for a little more attention to detail.

shower was freezing cold in the morning despite leaving it to run for 20 mins. think they only turned the hot water on at 7. breakfast was late start at 8am so had to miss it

The decor, comfy bed, gorgeous toiletries in the room, lovely helpful staff, location, delicious breakfast.

We didn’t dislike anything. The only thing that could be improved was the shower as the water pressure wasn’t great and the temperature cooled down quite a bit when trying to get more pressure.
