Stayed in a gorgeous and spacious villa, which felt like you were in the middle of the jungle but was really only a 10 minute walk from Ubud central. Breakfast was nice where you could pick from a range of options. The hotel put on live music, a bonfire and a bbq on the Wednesday night and this was super cute! The pool area was also lovely! Also the reception uses WhatsApp to communicate with guests which is super easy and convenient if you want to ask questions or book taxis etc. Would definitely stay here again!

Everything was perfect and I dream of going back to our suite with its beautiful private garden! Everything was clean and gave us the Bali experience that we craved. It was incredibly peaceful and we were very looked after.

Little things, although arrived with some else only one welcome drink initially provided, though was rectified after pointing it out. Breakfast on website said available in room but at extra charge. I think at the rate we already paid which included breakfast it could have been delivered to room for free, and not charged as a new breakfast . Guest book says afternoon tea can be served in room, this was refused by room service saying we had to take it restaurant, so didn’t bother. Breakfast was mediocre

Felt like we were staying in an old palace. the grounds of the hotel were beautiful.

The room we were staying in had a musty smell on the curtains. while we understand we were in the jungle which is part of the appeal we had a noisy gecko in the room that woke us multiple times each night.

The food was exceptional as was the room and the ambience of the hotel was lovely and beautifully designed. The pool was gorgeous and the pool snacks delicious. I cannot fault this pace and would stay again if ever in Ubud.

The location is excellent - close to the city centre yet secluded, making it quiet and peaceful with only the sounds of the jungle in the background. The room was fantastic (101). The healthy, organic food options are abundant, and ample breakfast options. During my stay, they even arranged a special event with a bonfire where we could enjoy the fire and the starry night, complete with marshmallows! Overall, the place is special.

During my recent stay at the hotel, I found the staff to be extremely helpful. However, I did have a bit of trouble communicating with some of the waiters at the pool area or the restaurant. Despite this, the front desk staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel and would highly recommend it to others.

The architecture, grounds, and location are lovely. An oasis from the very busy Ubud streets. 4 small bottles of water were provided in recyclable glass, but there was also access to drinking water to fill your own bottles in reception. I would stay again.

The mattress was ok but getting older. The pillows were too big. Building works occurred under our room during the day which did detract.

This is a great place to stay, the staff are fantastic, they can’t help you enough. The grounds beautiful, the Villas very comfortable. Room service was very prompt.

Continuous problems with our air conditioning, insects and lizard poos around the villa all the time. Choice of breakfast was minimal.

An authentic Balinese hotel that is built within the forest. While it is a large hotel, you will think you are the only guests, with private tucked away villa style rooms spread across the immaculate landscaped grounds. This was my second stay in the hotel (first was in 2012) and it once again met my expectations.

The gardens and grounds were gorgeous and magical. The staff were all so kind, helpful, and professional. They all had really good English too. It’s enough in Ubud that you can walk, but just out enough to be away from the madness. The free shuttle to town was nice and convenient and we used it a lot. We typically took it there and walked home, but they will pick you up as well. the also organized a really lovely half day trip for us. intimate pool. good breakfast.

no complaints. it was one of our favorite stays of a 2 month trip to Asia.
