Ci siamo subito innamorati, il posto è da fiaba, difficile da descrivere, sembrava di essere finiti in una puntata di Bridgerton; un castello antico immerso nella campagna bretone fuori Rennes, ma con tutti i confort della modernità. Abbiamo avuto una stanza bellissima, in una dependance del castello, con un suo dehor e la vista sugli stagni del grande parco, molto curato. Avevano avuto la delicatezza di avvertirci di un party di studenti (una festa di laurea) in una delle sere del nostro soggiorno, ma la verità è che non ce ne siamo quasi accorti. È altissimo il rapporto qualità prezzo, in considerazione di come tutto nella struttura sia molto curato, fin nei minimi dettagli (per esempio le pantofoline usa e getta in camera). Colazione straordinariamente ricca, sia sul salato che sul dolce. La bellezza del luogo e l'atmosfera sono impagabili.

L'unica cosa che migliorerei è l'ampiezza della proposta del menù del bellissimo ristorante dellì'hotel. La qualità è ottima, ma il menù offre solo due alternative sia come entree che piatto principale; con una scelta più larga saremmo sicuramente tornati ancora.

1. I arrived a little early and was initially turned away. However Matilde 'rescued' the situation and went out of her way to ensure my pleasant stay. 2.I arrived on a Monday, so the Gastronomique experience was limited due to the restaurant being closed! However Astrid 'rescued' this deficiency by reserving me a table at a (fairly) nearby restaurant, arranging a taxi. 3. The actual structure and grounds are amazing, esp. when the sun shines! 4. The room/suite was really top standard, esp. the views of the grounds and countryside. 5. The breakfast is in the top quartile. Fabulous. 6. Afternoon tea on the terrace is a truly exceptional experience.

7.The roads around the site are poorly maintained, quite undulating and narrow. Meeting another motorist is not much fun. 8.From Rennes, the property is difficult to find, even if Sat-Nav is used. 9.Taxi costs, due to the isolated location, are quite expensive. I spent over 100 Euros with Taxis Metropole to visit a nearby restaurant and return. 10. The bathroom was, in my opinion, rather 'style over substance'. It looks great on first impression but doesn't work so well. 11. Car parking can be rather cramped and in short supply.

Petit déjeuner exceptionnel, magnifique environnement. Intérieurs luxueux. Nous avions une grande chambre dans le chateau.

Absolument superbe ! Chambre superbe et literie confortable, restaurant délicieux service irréprochable. Le personnel à l'écoute de vos demandes et sait parfaitement solutionner les problèmes

Les choix proposés au petit déjeuner sont assez restreint mais cela dit les mets proposés sont qualitatifs et la salle est très agréable

La chambre avec son lit spacieux, cette belle et grande salle de bain avec bain jacuzzi ! La literie est idéale pour se reposer comme il faut ! Pouvoir prendre son petit-déjeuner en chambre est un plus, notamment avec la table et chaises placées à côté de la fenêtre ! C'est vraiment parfait ! Room-service possible ! Nous avons également dîner le samedi soir au restaurant de l'hôtel qui est vraiment très très bon !

Bémol sur les fourmis qui rentrent par des rainures de fenêtres et viennent jusqu'à la table où nous avons pris notre petit-déj dans la chambre ! C'était le mauvais le plus pénible ! Pas fan de ce WC à la mode "japonaise autowash" ! Heureusement que l'on peut l'éteindre ! Dimanche matin, il y avait une sorte de shooting photo juste devant avec une voiture de luxe... bon... se faire réveiller par un shooting et le moteur c'est moyen, surtout au prix du sommeil !( peut-être les shootings peuvent-ils se faire ) un autre moment... )

Walk over from parking and chateau to the room in the annex. This can be a drag when raining. Room was nice; certainly above average but not exceptional.

Restaurant fantastic - probably the best meal I've ever eaten. Do eat there! Great to stay in a real old Chateau - very good value for money. Very big room fully equipped.

Bathroom was big wetroom - floor became dangerously slippery.
