The location is centrally located to lots of restaurants and the beach
The A/C in the reception area was set to a very low temperature. The extra bed that was requested was a small sleeper couch, not an actual bed.

The property was in a good location
The room we stayed in was dirty, with stains in the carpet, couch and curtains. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned properly, the vanity was broken, and the base around the tap and basin had a build up of dirt and grime. The shower glass hadn’t been cleaned and the tiles looked like they hadn’t been cleaned properly either.
The staff in the main restaurant were lazy and just stood around or chatted amongst themselves without attending to customers. If you asked for something it seemed like an inconvenience and they took a long time fulfilling your request.
Pool area was average, nothing like the pictures.

Het bed ! Standaard bed zoals in elk ander Novotel/Mercure hotel
Locatie : Treurig, niet verlichte locatie, slechte toegang tot strand. Weinig echte leuke restaurants/bar in de buurt. Voor wat leuks heb je al snel een rit van 30min met taxi nodig.
Ontbijt : *zucht* ... Capuccino niet te drinken. Continental breakfast voor de liefhebber ... echter de geur in de bufferkamer hierdoor is misselijkmakend. Verluchting is ver te zoeken.
Inchecken : het duurde 40min voor de check-in klaar was. Nadien moest ik nog eens 1u wachten voor de kamer klaar was. Elk ander hotel had even een drankje aangeboden in afwachting. Een gold status membership helpt blijkbaar niet. Online check-in betekend ook werkelijk niets !

Location was great as it was right next to the beach. Loved the gym that had a view of the beach. Room and bed was very comfortable. Great options for meals onsite. Great pool.

The location was great. It was right on Juhu beach and the area was upscale. Hotel was very pleasant and staff were very friendly. Food was great. We particularly enjoyed the Chinese restaurant that was on site. Foood there was amazing. Staff Aditya and Vishal from this restaurant were great hosts. It was great 4 night stay at Novotel.
It was quite far from central Mumbai and so if you are a tourist then it’s a long drive from here in traffic. Their charges for drinks and even soft drinks were outrageously over priced. Too much security checkin to enter the hotel each time.

Room was sea-facing, though at an angle. Also was overlooking the pool (beach and sea being after the pool). Breakfast was nice and had a good spread. Location was excellent! Just on the beach and in a nice locality with good restaurants and shops close enough. The deck in front of the bar was marvellous, where one could enjoy food and drinks from the hotel. The swimming pool was nice too.
The swimming pool was nice but did not have a changing room or shower close to it. Either one could go down the steps to use the shower or go to the gym one floor above through the public area.

Room. It said Ocean View - but it was only a diagonal view and straight view was no good. Finishing is not good. Room interior requires an upgrade. Sofa is quite odd. Executive Lounge was just passe.

The location.
My room’s carpet and sofa were filthy with stains.I asked for it to be cleaned, but little was done. The safe wasn’t working and the room was boiling hot in the afternoons.
At check-in, I specifically asked for my credit card, which I gave for security, to not be charged. But it was.
All in all, a truly terrible stay and not worth the money I spent.

Check in was nice. Breakfast was also nice but at one point they didn't have space for me to eat at the restaruant. I ate at the room instead which was fine. Nice view from the room.
I paid for stuff I didn't consume from the mini bar. The receptionist said I had consumed a few things but in reality I hadn't. It was a small sum so I just paid it to move things along. Also I asked for bottled water at the breakfast that cost 500 rupees I realised when I saw the receipt. The most expensive water bottle I've ever had. Also breakfast didn't always have space.

the lobby was not great, the checkin took over one hour despite having notified the checkin time to the hotel well in advance. the room keys were handed over an hour later from the official checkin time all this while we were made to wait in an overly crowded lobby without any refreshments offered. it was a terrible experience and feel Novotel should take a note of the inconvenience caused. such a disgusting level of guest experience is unacceptable when charging such huge amount for bookings.

Refund of the amount mistakenly posted by your staff & the procedure to get that refund back is a bit unreasonable. Need to change that.

Late check in 1.5 hours. Although they adjusted checkout accordingly but making customers wait is not expected at brand like Novotel. excessively high priced food. If tea costs 450 it is not recommended to have food in the premises.

Worst experience ever. This is not 5 star for sure. Rude staff, recklessness, peeling wall papers, see through toilets with poor quality blinds, smelly aisles. Worst experience ever. Moved out within 30 minutes of checking in. They will too full day charge of 15k! I booked Ramada later which was really a great experience.

Breakfast was very basic and didn’t feel it had a clean environment, from tables to cutlery. Also variety was to a 4* standard not 5*.

Concierge is very fussy and not very helpful when it comes to receiving food from outside. They wont let representative come in to drop or receive on your behalf if you are not in the room.
Check in takes way longer than normal and staff is always short on keys.

I gave this hotel the benefit of doubt when I saw other people's review and still gave it a try, however upon staying there all the complains are true. This hotel kinda runs down a little bit. Most parts of the shower are defective, hairdryer didn't work, toilet seat was broken. When we asked for a new room, it took forever for them to action on it. The view from our room was quite nice tho especially the beach. Food was just okay, but a bit pricey for such quality.

It is pet friendly and the outstanding staff Chinmi from Bagecha restaurant really went out of his way to welcome my pet whose birthday it was as well
Spa staff lady a bit on the healthy side was very snobbish even remarking that she didn't knw that the hotel is pet friendly
There is no easy access to the beach as my pet was mobility challenged
The sheets were not clean
No food can be served in the area I was sitting
And I cannot go to the restaurants as I'm with my puppy
Inspit of knowing it is my pets birthday there was nothing special or out of the way done
Areas should be designated with restaurant for pet parents to come along wither pet
