No bathrobes/slippers. Had to ask for vegan milk/sausage at breakfast and and quite a wait for them to come.

Beautiful building, decorated lovely & although period features quite modern. Centrally located. Very clean. Rooms were very quiet.

Space around the bed, Although small double room which was fine. The bed was 6 feet width {could have been 4ft 6 inch double} with a chair under dsk which limited space

We stayed here after the value was better than a well known chain . We certainly were not disappointed . Arrived on a very cold night . Room was lovely . Huge . Spotless . Kettle provided along with some biscuits . Bathroom was again tastefully done and clearly newly renovated . Would definitely return again

If any negative it would be parking . Limited and not much room either . We parked on the main road if you resort to main road ensure you check the parking times and fees

The room was slightly cold, but it was easy enough to get it warmed up because is was very small.

Using my other stay as a reply to the hotel who clearly lied in my response to my review. the reply says staff knocked multiple times because we were late checking out. check out was 11 (our fault thought it was 12) We answered the door at 11:05/11:10 and apologised...there wasn't multiple knocks! If check out was 11, why would staff knock before this time? they didnt, but if they claimed they did, why knock before check out time? We answered on the first knock and got ready, we were out of the room by 11:35. we admitted it was a genuine mistake so dont lie on a genuine review. Ive stayed in multiple hotels all around the world and have never had a complaint of noise, if you like laughing, dont stay at this hotel because its ruled by the fun police and they clearly lie on responses. i stayed at The Crown this week in the centre which was amazing and you dont get told off for laughing.

Beautiful, well appointed hotel. Small but perfectly formed room. Comfortable bed, powerful shower, mugs of Yorkshire tea, what’s not to like?

Found no fault at all

The location was perfect, within easy access to the centre of Harrogate. The hotel was clean & staff were helpful, smiley & accommodating.

My original room was overheated , & electric radiator could not be adjusted . The room was tiny & there was no where to hook up any towels or even shelves to put toiletries. It was a squeeze to get into shower & im only a size 8!!! There was no coffee machine 🥺!!

Room was very very small.

The room and en suite were very modern and comfortable, probably renovated recently. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

The room we had been given, looked out into the back of the hotel ( no view at all) and we had a gutter pipe ( which was painted) running down the inside of the bedroom. The electric radiator was too hot and couldn’t be altered so we just switched it off at the plug and then opened the window, which looked like it would fall out any minute, as it was that old and dirty. I really did not expect to have ‘the gutter room, with no view’ for £150 per night !

Nothing at all was to my disliking

I should have booked a double room. The single room was ok but the bed was comfortable but very narrow and I am not(!) I've stayed in single rooms with much larger single beds.

Lovely atmosphere and decor. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed, linens and towels. Great location and view from bed across the green from our room. Bathroom and room were faultlessly clean. We will definitely stay again.

Stayed in room 203 at a great rate but it was very snug. There was only just room to edge round the bed. OK for a night or two.

Everything went well from a very friendly check-in to an excellent night's sleep and great breakfast. The Yorkshire really was on good form!

We stayed in one of the suites, which was really big and well equipped, and the breakfast was very nice. The restaurant and bar are lovely, especially the star lounge bar views
