Location

It’s so dirty, you will not believe, the walls, the carpet, corridors, etc so filthy I cannot believe they charge £99 for that.

The hotel itself was very attractive outside and inside, it was perfect location for our trip, we thought the staff and service were very good and it was a very clean, tidy room. We would def stay again and have recommended it to a friend who hopes to stay there very soon with her husband.

Our only issue really was in our twin room, the sink was not draining effectively, it would take a long time for the water to drain out, so there may have been a blockage.

Room was lovely and has everything you needed. Check in and check out were very smooth. Great to be able to park at the hotel as well.

There was lots of noise and people fighting in the streets on the nights we were staying. Not the fault of the hotel but made the stay very unsettling.

The staff and the food were exceptional along with the location.

The rooms could do with an upgrade.

Ideal location for rugby. Nice bar and restaurant

This was my third time staying here. Nice and helpful staff. The blanket that previously used in the room was changed to a thicker quilt which was cosy. There's a bath tub in the room and the hot water is good. The pub was newly rennovated and is comfortable.

I stayed in the annex this time. The facilities in the room are extremely dated and old. The wi-fi signal in the annex is very unstable. I couldn't get connected for most of the time. As an international traveller, I had to use my international roaming data on my phone! There is no house-keeping either. Nobody touched the room during my 5-night stay. There's a switch of towel rack outside the toilet, but no towel rack at all. This is not convenient as my room is located on the ground floor and slightly humid. All my clothes became slightly humid but was not able to dry them on a towel rack.

building work on annex started at 8am, we were not earned.

In a quiet location which leant to a very peacefrul night's sleep. Very helpful & courteous staff.

I was in a room in the annex, seperate to the main buliding which was slightly disappointing. The room was spacious but lacked any atmosphere and was very different to those portrayed on the website. There was also mould around the french windows, which were impossible to open to allow any fresh air in, after a shower. The bathroom fan was also incredibly loud and I suspect needed a clean to remedy.

location. breakfast was ok.

checkin. late at 11pm. night porter couldn’t work the “new system”. took 30 mins at the desk to get it sorted. also a strong smell of weed around the entrance. the whole experience was not encouraging. in fact, as the check in fiasco was happening, I was Googling other hotels in the area just in case. the room was stale and not well cleaned.

The room was as expected for a 3 star hotel, but a long walk from hotel facilities to our room, but staff helped us with our cases. The staff were very helpful, efficient and very friendly and the breakfasts were excellent. I think they are currently short staffed though, which seems to be a general problem with hospitality at this time.

I did not know that our room would not be serviced automatically and that I had to request a day and time for this.

Staff were very friendly. We had a issue with our room and they offered us free breakfast for our stay. Breakfast facilities were nice and good amount of car parking.

Room wasn't hoovered when we arrived and the room looked slightly outdated. However we was the told our part of the building was due a renovation soon

The facilities were really good - very comfortable bed, quiet during the night and a great shower. Really good breakfast choices and excellently prepared. Also, the staff were great - service was exceptional - Samir bent over backwards to assist us with taxi bookings and looking at alternative rooms as one of our party had specific requirements. ALL staff were friendly and helpful. Great team!
