Nice view from our room.
Reached hotel past midnight, only checked into the room an hour later due to the miscommunication caused internally.

We loved the location - such a beautiful river and easy walking distance to Tianfu Square, People’s Park etc
Our apartment was so spacious with two large en-suite bedrooms and massive lounge and dining area and an office !! Plus a well equipped kitchen.
It would have been more useful to have USB ports for charging phones.
Breakfast was acceptable but not the range and choice we have found in other hotels in China.
But these are both relatively minor points

It is very clean and very spacious with almost 700 sq/f rooms, and the staff were supper friendly. It provided everything you need and even the things you might or might not need. If you book any room with **01 number, you will have the view with the entire city, especially the night view from the windows surrounded the room. It has a rooftop garden on 34th floor where you can see the fantastic night view and take pictures. My husband and I enjoyed the roof garden every night by sitting there with a bottle of beer.
Although the breakfast is good, comparing with other the Somerset hotels such as the ones in Chongqing and Shenzhen where we also stayed during this trip, it lacked varieties.

Room is spacious. Best part of it - UTILITIES!!! Room has everything been you will need for longer stay (washing machine, big fridge, microwave, oven...). Tip: nearby Maan coffee on 1F is better for breakfast.
Location on Booking is 100m inaccurate. Parking is about tricky to find also, on B2 with no sign where to go. No bathrobes. Asked for higher floor, we got 17(16-33F is guestrooms). Wifi is locked and to use it you need help from reception-why?no why...Make sure you let reception know your car plates or you'll pay 90¥. Asking for 1000rmb deposit, even Booking said 500.

Friendly staff, good views and a really good sized room (1 bed deluxe).
Room was tired and in need of some TLC.
Child cot was filthy, appeared to have been in storage for some time - layer of dust.
Shower leaked into the toilet area.
Room smelt smokey.
Nowhere to hang wet washing after using the washing machine.
Room card didn't work on entry numerous times or on the rooftop garden so we didn't see that.
Wifi doesn't work, wouldn't connect.
Noise from the windows expanding throughout the night (from the shape of the room).
At check in I was told we'd been upgraded but it was the room I'd paid for so not sure what the upgrade was.

I booked an deluxe 1 bedroom and it was a great size. It had a good view overlooking the review. Mann coffee and 711 right downstairs. 10s to Taikoo Li/IFS and other central locations. Have laundry.
A bit dated so windows cracked a bit when the wind is big. Gym is dated but works. Breakfast is not that great but ok for me as I just have yogurt/fruit.

Great hotel with a rooftop in a central location in Chengdu. It is easy to get around by metro (nearest station is Huaxiba). Staff is very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast in the restaurant is delicious with a great variety of food.

You will never be disappointed for choosing this hotel. Super perfect.
