Very welcoming staff, and other travelers were friendly and respectful. The whole place was clean organized and well run. I was top bunk in the dorm, but did not feel unstable (it was only two stacked not three as others have said in the comments.)

The reception closes at 23 and if you want to have the key they ask you for a guarantee of 20 euros or they will keep your ID until check out. This key is not necessary as the doors to the premises will be open and people may enter through another noisy room door throughout the night. The door of the rooms is open 24 hours so anyone can enter. The number of lockers, bathrooms and showers is not enough. They don't have a safe luggage room, since you only have to leave them in a common area and pray that it is still there when you return. Since the reception is closed during the night, we have a problem with one of the guest sleeping in our room and nobody was there to help us so some of us had to take the mattress and sleep in the corridor outside the room.

The bedroom wasn’t comfortable. 16 dorm, each bed super close to each other, no much space and the conditions weren’t good and the bedroom wasn’t really cleaned. It had two doors with access to outside and anyone could got in and out anytime. Super noisy at night and no one controlling the atmosphere outside during the night. One bathroom for three big dorms and not so clean.

The kitchen only opened at 7.30am and I had to leave earlier, do I couldn't have taken my breakfast and had to spend extra to get it outside. But, way more important, it was very hard to sleep in the bed it was given me, because it was near the exit door (with glasses so the light could come in the room) with a light on near the door. And also, when I asked to be assigned another bed, was answered me there were none left, just to discover during the night there were several empty beds they could have given me instead of the one I was assigned at. 👎.

The hostel is close to Central Station and the city centre.

About 16 people sharing one room in the basement with only a few power points. Too many people (I guess more than 30 people) sharing only 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms. Instead of pillow, small cushion was provided and it was very uncomfortable. Bear in mind if you arrive early, there is no storage room to leave your stuff and you will be offered to leave your baggage in the common area. Absolutely no one accepts any responsibility of your belongings. All in all, everything has some issues in the hostel and I do NOT recommend at least the shared rooms in this hostel.

The landscape, the gardens around the very nice hotel. also the location. the weather was not very good, but I am sure we would enjoy the swimming pool in the middle of that wonderful garden a lot. may be next time:-)

Just the location was good because it was near to the main train station. So if you arrive in Lugano very late you can easily get there.

There were 16 people in the downstairs. The room did not have any fans or air conditioning and the bad smell of shoes were everywhere so you could not sleep well. Also I checked in very late (after 12 am) and the staff could not speak English. Finally, there were only 3 toilets and 1 bathroom for 32 people for share rooms.

The view on the lake from the room was amazing. Free parking space on side. Because it also is a hostel there are facilities the cook and eat. Housekeeping works on a tidily schedule.

I stayed in the hostel part of the Hotel. The breakfast, location and swimming pool were a highlight, as well as the pleasantness of the personnel.
