we thought the menus was a little limited as there is no where else local to go after 2 days we ran out and of choices

The location of the hotel and views are excellent. The communal areas are clean and welcoming. The staff were helpful.

Our room needed refurbishing. The bathroom had rusty hinges, the door was marked, the towel rail was dusted by our towels when we put them on it. The ceiling was marked with damp patches. The headboard on the bed was very worn. The corners of the bathroom were dirty. Our room was cleaned but there were still bits on the floor, leaves etc so it had not been hovered. We have visited Coniston for a number of times over the last 5/6 years and noticed this time that it was starting to look a bit dated in the room that we were in anyway. Room 12.

Everything was amazing here will definitely be back would definitely recommend the spa had a lovely night

The Spa is lovely, well worth a visit, we just did the pool and thermal. The hotels proximity to great walking is a major bonus. The food was lovely. We eat out one evening in Malham. Grounds are very nice, with a great view in the morning from our room.

Car chargers took a little bit of sorting, but worked well in the end.

Wonderful location, plenty to do within the complex, very friendly and helpful staff.

The cost of the pool and spa pools should be included in the room rate. Only the gym was included when we booked.

the property is set in a beautiful part of Yorkshire with many activities.

Nothing to dislike about the hotel

in a lovely setting. bedrooms spacious.

we would’ve liked to go to the spa but there was an extra charge of £40 per person so we didn’t go. when you’ve already paid for 2 nights at over 300 I think we should’ve had a complimentary pass when you stay for 2 nights. also we were due to eat in the view restaurant. we sat down at 8.15pm. we took our drinks in from the other bar. water was offered and we were still sat there at 8.30pm with no one taking our starter order. so we got up and left and went to the other bar.

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating and the rooms were very clean. The spa area was lovely and the treatment a good relaxing experience. Lovely walk around the estate.

The additional cost of the spa was pricey for a resident of the hotel. On both nights of our stay there was a wedding on site which meant the staff were exceptionally busy causing delays with service of food and drink.

Food was good and room comfortable. Nice location.

After paying more than £200 for bed and breakfast we were asked to pay £60 for 1 hour 45 minutes in the spa - we refused. Quality hotels do not charge residents to use the swimming pool and sauna.

We have stayed at the Coniston hotel before. We love its location. Food is excellent. A nice treat!
