We stayed in the Lister Barn, a beautiful converted barn, as The Lister Arms upgraded our room as a gesture on our engagement. Fantastic location, delicious food and wine in the pub, and super helpful staff. Great wifi coverage across the property made up for poor mobile network coverage. They also offer the same care to dogs if you have one!

We arrived in torrential rain after a days cycling. The room was warm allowing us to dry our clothes , shoes, etc. Room and bathroom very clean. Bed very comfortable. Evening meal and breakfast both good quality

Rooms could have been located closer together, one room was in the main house and the other across the road in the barn.

Wonderful atmosphere provided by the most motivated and engaged staff. Everyone really made us feel welcome. The meals very delicious and beyond what we expected. This place is a gem and a great point of exploring the Yorkshiredales from.

Fabulous stay, slight issue when leaving as was asked to pay for champagne that had already been paid for but very minor issue which did not spoil the stay. We will fe back and recommend to all
