It was well equipped. Loved having the option to cook using the portable element.
Plenty of towels. Bonus...electric blanket.
It is lovely to have a suitcase stand, heater and free wifi.
Very friendly manager who directed me to great walks.
So close to town and waterfront. Amazingly friendly retail staff. Good sales. Bought lovely leather boots and Buxton wallets at better prices than the city.

Great location, clean, spacious room / bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, friendly staff! It was a perfect place for our stay after taking the ferry and before continuing our journey on the South Island.

Could have been warmer in the mezzanine thought the heater was on max. But it was not cold. Other than that - a perfect fairly priced place to stay while on the journey or for a short trip.
Tap in the shower is place awkwardly. It is impossible not to hit it with your elbow when taking a shower.

beds were comfy and the facilities were clean
the other guests. A lot of screaming and arguing and people in the car park all night talking on phones. especially up behind where we stayed. this went on until 1am.
unsure if these were long term people but they spoke in a foreign language and were extremely noisey

The location and the gentleman that assisted us.
We were in a wheelchair access room which had a boiler located in the wardrobe which served various rooms. As a result it was constantly filling and boiling water which was right next the the bed, making sleep difficult.

Location was convenient. Staff were helpful in organising our arrival.
I would not consider it 2 bedroom, there is little privacy there. There was the main room with double bed and more like a loft up some stairs but no door. Not ideal for 2 couples.
It's an older hotel. The water pressure in the shower was terrible!

Easy to get to from Picton Ferry, good and close to Terminal. Good size rooms and close to Supermarket and cafes.

Location great for my needs. Staff had heater on was nice touch.
Bathroom had xmas snow paint on window and shower. Seemed and looked dirty. Shower floor very uneven. Shower rose useless.

Walking distance to town with supermarket across the road. Staff were friendly.
