excellent location to be able to walk to town for dinner which is perfect after arriving off the ferry

Comfy room

Our ferry arrived late, so reception was closed and we weren't able to put in a breakfast order. We woke on good Friday and restaurant was also closed and there was no information or alternative kai options provided. Also need alternative drinking water sources that are not from the bathroom

Friendly staff

The restaurant was closed so no kai option. There us only a sink in bathroom, and had to use tap outside for water for jug - need another water source for drinking that is not from the bathroom.

checking is was cumbersome as our ferry arrived late and there was no human touch (7:30pm)… all the instructions were placed on small pieces of paper and some were clearly from the middle of the pandemic

Great outlook across the harbour from our room. We also ate in the restaurant onsite which was delicious.

Some of the curtains and furnishings could be updated. Sign out the front of the Hotel say "fully renovated in 2013" which suggests that was the last time things were updated.

Great position for the cat hing the ferry to Wellington.. Easy walk to town and other local attractions. Restaurant on site we didn't use but could be handy. In room facilities for cooking good. Pool on site great for families.

There was nothing we didn't like we stayed 2 nights.

Nice enough, clean & good-sized room, but a little dated? Fridge door was not great, view was awesome. Bit pricy for what it was considering we paid way less for newer, nicer rooms on our trip.

location. well appointment unit perfect for an overnight stay. plenty of towels shampoo etc. Ground floor room was requested and provided. communication very prompt.

They didn't have enough room cleaning staff So my room did not get done till the end of my stay Had to go and get coffee and tea and clean towels

The view was lovely

No restaurant available as this is why we wanted to stay there but were not notified of this so couldn't book in anywhere else.. the bathroom smelt of mould

Great location and view. Also, enjoyed the spa bath. Was lovely to have a good soak after a big day of traveling and activities with the family.

The restaurant was closed. We were tired as we’d already been traveling for 2 days so our preference would’ve been to eat in but we totally understood and empathized with the reason given (chef recovering from surgery). We walked to town and had dinner at The Barn. The meal, price and service there was exceptional.

Close to fairy terminal and restaurants

Wifi was crap. Kept cutting in and out all the time and buffered heaps, shower in unit not very well set up. When you open door and turn it on the water fires right out the door to the floor. Having to shut door straight away then hop back in fireing more water on floor. Good thing is plenty of towels in room to dry floor.
