first of all there is no place in the name of sunny villas, so its almost impossible to find it. this villas used to be in another name "Callisto " , so at the gate you ll see this name.

ants everywhere in the garden pool and the house, so the pool gets very easy with full of insects. villa needs immediate restoration , and smells old . the beach shawn on pictures is not the same, though there is beach nearby (paliolinos) but its rocky to enter and impossible to swim unfortunately.

Not much at all around here, so absolutely perfect if you want peace and quiet. A car is essential. Pool is amazing. Owners communicate well and are obviously proud of their accomodation - as they should be. Well done!

tbh, I really liked this Villa. Strange to have the microwave in the laundry room far way from the kitchen, but no big deal. Wasps are a @£#& nuisance, but that's just Kefalonia all over.

This is a lovely villa in a peaceful location. The garden was very private and the pool was great. Everything inside was kept very clean. The location is good and we enjoyed walking on the local trails. There’s an apartment complex just up the road which does good iced coffees as does the cafe in Spartia. The gas bbq was an unexpected bonus which we made good use of. The local Lidl has a good stock of all sorts of fresh local fish.

A minor point but I don’t think our pool was checked during our 5 day stay. We noticed on the last day that it was going a bit green in places. The kitchen is very small but it was fine for what we needed. The air con in both bedrooms made a ticking noise at times.

We had a wonderful stay at the villa 3. We had the sun all day and very much enjoyed the table outside and the BBQ. The hosts were very helpful throughout our stay and we were welcomed to some lovely bits in the fridge upon arrival.

The villas are located in a nice secluded area, and the grounds were fairly big. The pool area was spacious, with different outdoors tables and chairs to eat or relax beside. Each villa has a good quality and large BBQ. The kitchen also has plenty of cooking utensils, cutlery, pots and pans etc. It is good for families. We were greeted with a welcome pack of essential items which was helpful. The size of the rooms were big, and each room had air-conditioning.

Upon arrival into 2 Bedroom Villa 1, the bathroom of the main bedroom was not entirely clean with visible hair on the floor & bathtub. On arrival in both bedrooms there were a number of fire ants present. Overall that wasn't a major problem initially, and the owner did move us to another larger villa for the first 4 nights whilst he cleaned the original property. We had no problems in this second villa at all. We did have to return to the original villa on the 5th night, and this is where the problems reappeared. We completely accept that a villa in Greece will have bugs enter the property from time to time. A few ants here and there are expected. However, the owner flat-out refused to believe the 2 Bedroom Villa 1 had an ant problem. We explained that there was clearly an ant nest living within the walls or in close proximity to the kitchen area. Every time we cooked, an hour later hundreds of ants would enter through the cracks in the kitchen wall. In one instance, a small drop of olive oil resulted in hundreds of ants entering. On another instance, a small bread crumb on the floor, also resulted in hundreds of ants appearing through the cracks in the wall. The owner kept on insisting that it was only a few ants, despite the photos, and that it was our fault for leaving sugar and marmalade out. I can assure you we did not. A small handful of ants is normal, but you cannot live in a villa where hundreds turn up because a tiny breadcrumb is on the floor. We did explain to the owner the issue, who was in denial. We had to leave the villa and stay in a B&B on our penultimate night in fear of the infestation. When I alerted the owner to this, which was met with some denial again. He did return the following day to apply poison, and seal all of the holes in the walls and kitchen counters where the ants were coming from. However, his initial attitude ruined the experience.
