the location was great & also had a fantastic view over the water garden & then out to the mountains & even Coral Sea glimpses.

there was a continuous slight humming noise from the rear of the bathroom.

Club Tropical is an older building but the room was renovated & in great condition. The lady at the front desk couldn't be any friendlier. The pool area again was old but very well presented & in great condition. Quick walk to all the main cafe's & restaurants.

It didn't bother us so much, but the constant music from the pub over the road could be off putting to those who want peace and quiet

3.5 star accomodation at best! not a resort despite their delusional name. it’s not a “self contained” apartment either as there is no washing machine, dryer or proper cooking facilities. pool area is a disgrace, shabby and in disrepair as was our room.

Location was perfect and the size of the room and bathroom was big and spacious.

It was very dated and the items in the kitchen area were not clean. The cleaning was not good. Even the outside of the apartment had leaves that had not been cleaned up in the four days we were there.

our apartment was old probably time for a refurbishment. The iron and tv were broken but immediately we advised front desk they were replaced.,

Location was great. Swimming pool was warm and spa beautiful.. Balcony and outdoor furniture were comfortable and plentiful. The beds were clean.and comfortable.

The room was a great size but the decor was very dated and lighting poor. The fridge in the kitchen was very old and the freezing compartment had no door and was all iced up. Although badly in need of an upgrade we enjoyed our stay.

No daily housekeeping service, which is not essential, however they charge 2 dollars for fresh towels which was disappointing considering the high price we had paid for our room. The balcony door and the bedroom/bathroom door were both off their hinges when we arrived. We had to call for maintenance before we even unpacked our bags. It’s in serious need of a good refurb. I understand it’s been a rough couple years for the industry, but to treat your guests so poorly is unacceptable.

The location was excellent - close to shops, restaurants, park (where Sunday markets held) and the start of walking trail around headland to four mile beach. before arrival the staff were great at helping with transfers and trip enquiries.

The unit we had needs to be renovated - it was tired and old. Bathroom door didn’t close properly had been propped up with a door wedge, Patio doors difficult to open, lounge suite not comfortable and not a great fit for the space. Leaf blower noise far too early in the morning for a holiday resort.
