we have reserved a not-renovated room but were very positively surprized about size of the room, the quality of the beds and the size of the bathroom. The bathroom linen smelt divine! Yes, the room can use a refreshment, but this suited us perfectly for the price we paid. The breakfast exceeded all expectations, and was included in the room rate.

if we need to gave a less positive remark, it will be the isolation of the entrance doors of the rooms and between de 2 buildings.

We had the family suite, beautiful spacious apartment! Good breakfast!

The quality of all the doors of the room was not good. Each person in each room around us had to close the door in a way that created huge noise. We really had to shut the door in order for it to close from the outside.

Proximity to the Dijk. Great Location. Had a great room with balcony. Breakfast was nice.

Unfortunately we did not reserve a parking spot, as it was stated it was not necessary to book one. However once we arrived we did not get a parking spot.

The breakfast was amazing and the rooftop too!

The staff wasn’t that kind nor helpful. The fridge in the room was very noisy. The room door was not easy to close.

If I could give less than a "1" rating, I would. The only positive aspect about my stay was the great location. Other than this, this was most probably the most disappointing hotel experience and customer service I have made. I have to say that apparently there seem to be renovated and not renovated rooms, as I conclude from other customer ratings, and that I apparently stayed in a not yet renovated room. I have had a look at the hotel site on booking.com and was expecting a room as advertised. Coming in I was surprised how worn down the room was, the curtains had wholes in them and had a lot of black marks. I went to the reception to inform them about this and to ensure it is known that I did not do this. The response was “This is okay.” (which it is not). A shock was when I used the shower. The shower and bathroom and generel looked run down, unclean (I would have been embarrassed in front of my guests, if this was my private apartment) and the white towel again had wholes and black marks. The carpet on the floor was just yuck. After this I went to the reception to share what I am experiencing and voice my disappointment, as my expectations were what was advertised online versus the reality it was. I do not remember a situation in my life, where I have been treated so arrogant, to words such as “You pay 120 Euro a night, what do you expect?”. I believe that the least you can expect is a clean room and towels that are not ripped and be treated like a human person. But maybe you only qualify for this, if you pay more than 120 Euros per night. Exceptional arrogant and rude behaviour from the desk manager. This was the most disappointing and frustrating hotel experience I have made, which really upset my stay. I hope sharing this can save someone else from having the same bad experience and frustration.

Overall very good location and friendly atmosphere and staff.

We did a dinner in the hotel, food was OK but we got a 4 course dinner in a way to fast way. They should give e the people a bit more time between de courses.

For breakfast, too many industrial products. Maybe provide less choice but with better quality, maybe local. The egg cooker is brillant nonetheless. A finest environment should come with a finest food quality.

The location is good, it was clean and the breakfast was fine (breakfast: good but too expensive for what you get).

The rooms were not as shown on the pictures on Booking.com (cheerless and grey). The mattresses are very low quality!!! The pillows are made from stone. Really unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. You can feel the springs. One of the two beds was actually sagged. They did not properly solve this issue in a smart way after asking. The main personnel is quite arrogant, except for the concierge staff etc. The hotel is also very noisy!! This hotel is just bad! There are much better options nearby for the same money.
