For the amount of money paid (€200 p/n) I would have expected the room to be equipped with bathrobes, slippers, working WiFi (not so much on the first night), coffee&tea making facilities. I had expected the reception to be able to lend umbrellas to their guests, but they did not have any.
Besides that, as stated, the bathroom was not properly cleaned; I found a clothing label underneath the sink.
There were bloodstaines on the bed linen and the room had a very bad odeur (like sewer)
When I informed reception on Saturday morning, they were surprised to hear this and apologised. Upon return the smell was the same, the sheets were changed thank god. To my surprise the receptionist never asked about this incident again, nor if it was solved.
The breakfast selection was fine, the staff was very friendly there. The room were the breakfast buffet is located and guest can enjoy their breakfast is a bit sad. No atmosphere, no background music.
Upon check out the receptionist did not inform how my stay was… I told her all of the above and she would inform management.
Such a shame of this hotel at its superb location. Will definitely not recommend nor return

nothing! very bad service at the bar/restaurant, the heat in the room was unadjusted and far too hot; we had to sleep with the window open and my wife was sick… noisy outdoor; headache in the morning.. a nightmare

There is nothing positive to mention about this hotel. It was the worst hotel in my whole lifetime (and I travelled the world around). I cannot remember ever having experienced such a scam.
To start with the rooms are soulless (as seems Knokke to be in general - better go to Blankenberge or Oostende). It seems nobody cared about the room decoration. Yes, the room is big, but at the same time very empty. The tiny TV is so far away from bed, at the other end of the room, that it is impossible to watch TV while you are relaxing in bed. Besides the bed nowhere a place to put a book, a drink or whatever (other than if you wish to put it directly on the floor). Breakfast buffet crammed in a tiny corner. Reception inefficient and apparently with Internet only in some corners of the reception, which makes check-out a cumbersome experience.
But the worst, and really a scam and big disappointment is that the rooms (at 260 euro per room!) were marketed as "suites with seaview". I booked them for my elderly mother, who is fond to watch the sea. The seaview turned out to be a direct view on a construction site! Don't fall for this lie! This hotel has no seaview.
Okay, maybe there was a seaview before the construction started. But it would have been honest to inform us about the fact that there is no seaview anymore. It would have also been honest to offer some word or gesture of apology.

this hotel is booked due to the location and it's only the location. The hospitality and customer experience is not what they aim for. 25 euro for parking should be included or seen as "service".

No airconditioning, it was hot in the room in summer.

The receptionists are super friendly! Parking is available. Very close to the beach and shopping area! I come and stay here during the Knokke Race! 🏃🏽♂️. Always feel at ease for the race when staying here. Super convenient for me! ill be back soon!

Room, breakfast, Le Bistro and staff in general
Requested a room with sea view and had one but there were also big works with big machines in front. This is not of the hotel’s responsibility but I think they could have mailed me informing on this, i would have come anyway but would not have a shock when looking out!

room are dated, carpet needs to be replaced. there is a massive construction site across the street that starts construction very early and very noisy. this wasn’t disclosed ahead and pricing didn’t reflect that fact

Breakfast room design is uninspiring/dated. Breakfast foods are boring and unhealthy.
There is a pungent smell throughout the hotel. Especially the bathroom and hallways odours were absolutely disgusting.
We would not come here again.

Hotel is situated very well, room was spacious and also nicely located.
Has seen better days (already 10 years ago), needs definitely renovation. (Almost injured my foot due to a broke tile in the bathroom)
Staff in the seafood restaurant and rooftop was very friendly, rest of staff was medium.
