Beautifully kept, gorgeous design and stunning location. So quiet and away from everything else yet just a short ride to all the wine region. Breakfast was amazing and staff were so kind and attentive!

The hotel looks and feels amazing. The eco pool is beautiful and relaxing, and the heated pool is awesome. Food is also great. We had a great time!

Booked a high end room due to recent stresses, but hotel called day before arrival to say room no longer available due to maintenance issue, and therefore being changed. Once on site the manager explained that not a maintenance issue but ‘double booking’, but that the room that I had been given had a better view. On leaving got the chance to see a similar room to the one booked and as suspected had a knock out view. All the dishonesty where the hotel had clearly simply given my room to somebody else left a very sour taste. A shame as some of the staff were lovely, and I’ll be back in the area regularly over the coming years.

The location was charming, peaceful, and secluded. The layout of the establishment was very good, everything close by and nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff. The hot tub and pool was fabulous, the rooms were so well layed out and spacious and the attention to detail was 1st class. Highly recommended 👌🏻

Nothing stands out as being a negative. If you plan on eating at the hotel, be aware that it's a fixed dinner menu. This may not appeal to some guests but the food was superb 👌🏻

The team at Angela were superb. Aubry, the manager was super accommodating and went out of his way to help us experience a magical start to my wife's birthday. The whole team came out at breakfast with a cake and candles and sang her happy birthday! Amazing team work. The property is secluded, so you have peace and quiet (although currently they are building a house close by so that noise will be temporary). We got an upgrade and stayed in room number 2 ! Perfect. Peacocks calling out, mountain views, great outside shower, spacious room, curtains closed of nearly all of the light so we could get an excellent sleep. I took the opportunity to use their Sauna, and the hot tub. Nobody else was there so it was peaceful bliss! One thing to note - they have two staff members who have been working on the property for 22, and 25 years. The longest serving lady, Cerene, is amazing to speak to. She treats you like family and goes out of her way to help (and now her daughter also works for them in the kitchen as a chef! ). Well done Angala! You did your owners proud - great team work.

A peacock in the room ? (lol) Kidding... everything was great. Nothing to complain about. If you don't want to have dinner at the property you will need to drive somewhere else like Franschoek - but that too was a great experience.
