Sehr nettes Personal. Das ganze Haus und auch das Zimmer riechen stark nach einer Art Parfüm. Es ist mir nicht gelungen die Ursache zu ermitteln. Nach einiger Zeit nimmt man den Geruch nicht mehr wahr. Für Leute die unter Migräne leiden kann das sicher ein Problem sein. Die Dusche war neu, aber sehr klein. Das Wasser überschwemmte den ganzen Badboden.
Die laute Musik beim Frühstück die komplett aus Hits der 1930er (?) Jahre stammte ist Geschmacksache.

Zentrale Lage des Hotels, trotzdem sehr ruhig
In unserem Alter wäre ein Zimmer weiter unten angenehmer gewesen.Die vielen Treppen mit dem Gepäck waren ein wenig anstrengend

A beautiful bedroom. Excellent breakfast with many choices and imaginative options. Friendly if retiring staff.
It was strange being on my own in the hotel, I suppose their season is only beginning. Had to drive 20 mins for dinner, but then the trip to the Ratskeller in Saalfeld was worth it: magnificent.

Everything was perfect as always! New rooms in the third floor are really nice and comfortable.

Ambience, charming rooms, authentic decor, beautifully restored villa. Rooms were spacious, with views into well- maintained gardens, fountains and parkland. Superb restaurant and cosy well stocked bar

This place is a piece of art. Tastefully furnished and decorated. The restaurant serves amazing food. Lovely park which is very well maintained. The staff is friendly. We immediately felt at home. And I say this as someone who usually hates hotels.

My partner and I stayed 2 nights in this wonderful hotel in October and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is a refurbished villa from the 1920s situated on a hillside over the small city of Pößneck. Our room was furnished with period furniture and had a lovely view to the garden. The only minus must have been the food in the hotel restaurant which was ok but not something you would remember. But all in all a very nice accommodation which is highly recommended
