The staff were great. They all seem to work together well.

I liked the staff (excellent), the location, WIFI, swimming pool, restaurant, access to town and other restaurants.

I did not like the bathroom, the lighting, and we were not provided with a table to eat at (there was a counter, but just not the same), and the biggest problem for us was the absence of a microwave. Most Canadians and Americans use a microwave frequently in their cooking.

Great location to beach. Wonderfully friendly staff.

Great location the beach, close to downtown (easy walk) as well as several very nice restaurants in the area. The beach restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent. We were able to have food delivered to our room balcony one night, which made for a very intimate dinner for the two of us.

Not all rooms have an ocean view. Make sure you check which room you are going to be assigned. We were initially assigned a non-ocean view and were able to change it upon check-in. There are stairs for the property (it is built into the cliffside of the ocean), so not a good property for mobility impaired guests. But we had no problem with it.

This little hotel has a great location on Playa Madera, which is midway between Playa La Ropa and downtown Playa Principal. Easy walk to town, taxis, pharmacies and OXXO. I was a few steps right on to the beach. Also the staff at this hotel is exceptional. They are truly wonderful people who are helpful and kind.

Nothing really, but this hotel is not for handicapped people. A lot of stairs. But all the buildings next to the beaches are like this.

FANTASTIC!!! Everything about this property was spectacular. The location, the staff, the accommodations. We stayed on bungalow #2. We had an outside fully stocked kitchen, a dinning area and a huge sun porch . Mind you this is not a all- inclusive 5 start property. This is a more intimate establishment, but with that said, we we were treated like gold. The staff from check in to check out was attentive and friendly, helpful and patient. Ricardo is a fantastic host and the cleaning staff were amazing and made the little towel art on our bed every day. The restaurant stayed open for us because we were late getting in on a very long bus ride and we’re starving. our waiter Armando was great. We swam in the pool a lot and always was clean and refreshing. Again, forget about the views, they are amazing. couldn’t have had a better time!

Location was great! We loved the view from our junior jacuzzi suite. The rooms were clean and bed comfortable. We love being able to walk into town so easily. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant food delicious.

The jacuzzi only worked two of the days we were there (out of seven) as a motor needed to be replaced. That was disappointing . Also, one night some other guests were very loud until about 12:30 am (family reunion maybe).

small quaint hotel, very quiet and well located for most anything you could want. attached to a very good restaurant right on the beach with excellent food and great value.

the hotel is on a cliff facing the ocean. Not a problem for us but beware of the fact that there are many stairs to climb throughout the facility

The location and view were great.

I thought the suite would offer more privacy, but the Junior Suite is right at the very public pool. People seemed to be re-arranging the furniture upstairs a LOT and the sound was somehow amplified through the floor/ceiling, it was surprisingly loud. I didn't like that they were charging 70 pesos for a jug of water, I actually live in the neighborhood and it costs me 12 pesos. The air conditioner dripped water everywhere, when maintenance was called the guy didn't even clean up the water, he just threw 2 rags on the ground.

Great location on the beach. Good restaurant right on the beach. Everyone was very nice and accommodating.

It was kind of dated. The room was OK but there was really no privacy on the verandah.

We were greeted warmly when we arrived, however when we told the same receptionist (a male) that we were staying another week and moving to a different hotel, his demeanor and expression changed negatively toward us. We were also sucked into some drama with two of the wait staff, the type of thing you try to get away from when you go on vacation. The location was fantastic, and the rates were very reasonable. The cleaning staff was unbelievably hard working, friendly and went out of their way for us. There was a young man named Davy that we adored, he was general staff but helped us carry things and helped in any way he could, he had a very infectious smile, we wanted to take him home! Overall I'd give this place a good score, we were treated very well most the time we stayed there.

The air conditioner in our room leaked, so we had to put towels behind our heads to keep from getting splashed while sleeping. The room was still very amazing and they tried fixing it a few times. I understand using something until you can't anymore but when it comes to hotel stay they're taking chances on bad reviews. We noticed after leaving that they either were working on it again or replacing it.

Food was excellent. Staff all outstanding. Location cannot be beat. Our third stay.

The beds and pillows could really use an upgrade. If a good night sleep is had, nothing else is a concern

The restaurant, view, beach service were great. Very well kept facility. Excellent location. Nice little store across street. Had large jug òf water and bag òf ice for room cheap.

Allowed smoking. Chairs uncomfortable in sitting area.

Room 10 was the best room in my mind. Pool was great. Staff was great
