awesome, comfy and classy hotel, in a beautiful classic style with green gardens throughout the property, very comfy rooms with good AC’s that cool the room nicely, I had the room that had the jacuzzi tub outside on the patio deck, and it was marvelous to sit in the warm jacuzzi tub at sunrise and drink my coffee at daybreak…
Hotel Aura Del Mar is my ONLY choice for a hotel when I’m in Zihu!

Beautiful tropical landscaping, good views of the bay and Playa Madera below. Very nice staff.
In general the plumbing could be upgraded. It is rustic but also worn.

At first we were nervous to book this place because the rate was so low. We were blown away when we arrived. Pure Mexican charm, lovely views and great location.

I love this hotel. It is in the perfect location. It's really comfortable. Every room has a great view. Staff are extremely friendly. We decided to come to Zihuatanejo because we were so happy with this hotel the last time we were here.

Breakfast is served in a nice restaurant on a main level. Nice ocean view , good food and a lot of choices.
Pool area is very nice with a super view. Small Gym but all you need to do basics.
Stairs for me not a problem , but for some people could be . A lot of stairs !

Too expensive for hotel like that , it shouldn't have been over $85.00 per night for a room like that.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and well kept. The hotel grounds are lush with greenery. The rooms are rustic but comfortable and cleaned twice a day. The view of the ocean from our room was just breathtaking. The pool is a good size and has a very fun slide for kids and adults. Breakfast is exceptional. I can confidently recommend.
Although the rooms do have wall mounted AC units, it did feel a bit stuffy/humid the 1st night.. it took our room about a day to really cool down. After that it stayed very cool and comfortable. Just a note that this hotel does not have an elevator.

The location, and the facility were fantastic. It is on the beach, and it offers a very comfortable lounge area, and a restaurant that offers one of the best food around. It is also by el Camino del pescador, a path for pedestrians to walk along the beach line to the marina, and that takes you to several eateries, and spots by the beach. Our room had an awesome beach view, with a balcony.
The only thing that I personally did not like much was the stairs, but I understand it is built on a slope, and it has no elevator, so in order to go from the rooms to the beach you must take the stairs, but is doable.
