Nice place to stay near the airport. Very clean and everything was ready for cooking. Coffee machine was great, too. Quick response from the host. Highly recommend this apartment.

The location was perfect, 10 minutes from the airport by car. The apartment was very warm and comfortable. Unfortunately for us, the morning we woke up our car had a flat tire. The owner and his family helped us from the first time and offered us coffee and warmth. We recommend the apartment for sure!

Located right on the peninsula within walking distance of a great restaurant and the lighthouse.

Apt was lovely and warm, w great kitchen and furnishings. Expected to arrive on a 10pm flight, but 4 hr delay got us to apt about 2:30am, so only there for a few hours of sleep before leaving for Bl Lagoon.

Took us a bit to find correct cabin as it was behind others which were accessible from parking lot. Ours was definitely not accessible as snow betw parking and apt was 2 1/2’ deep and not cleared. There were deep footprints through snow to door which we fell into in dark while we dragged luggage over.

We had a big apartment and it was our second stay in this place (first time was in a cottage). That was really comfortable stay for our group. Accommodation is in a quiet area, in a convenient location, very close to the airport. Hosts are friendly and very hospitable. Our stay was just before Christmas and a house looked like home, so cosy and with very subtle Christmas decorations. There are rooms that are not tiny, you got a living room and a kitchen with essential kitchen utensils. Value for money compare to other places is really good. Looking forward for our third stay. excellent location to be away from most things, i loved that it was so quiet and I can just walk out at night and have the chance to see the northern light which we did both nights. free and easy parking, shop nearby and airport only 10mins away by car. bit of a small place some might call it cozy but it was good enough for us no issues. fridge an microwave good, bits for cooking around as well.

10 min from Kefalik airport, warm, calm, fully equiped. Nice 10 min walk to the lighthouse along the sea. We stayed at a studio with 2 children.

Everything was perfect.

Warm, spacious and well equipped. Good location, close to the airport and sites we wanted to visit on our last day. Volcano Hike and Blue Lagoon 30 drive away.

The toilet flush button was missing.

Very clean tiny apartment with all required facilities. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

Everything was good. The owner is very responsive and ready to take feedback and improve the experience of the visitors.

We got well informed about the area and how to access the cottage! we only stay for short time but we were so lucky to see the beautiful aurora while we arrived!!! the room is clean and we got everything we needed!

The light from the light house is a bit disturbing after the curtain down..

at night time the area is bright so it would be hard to look for the northern nights (area fault not hosts)

Power cut over night leaving no power for early morning departure. Given that the cooker clock was flashing on arrival, suspect this was not a one off. Next door huts also power off, but not elsewehere, therefore a localized problem to this property/neighbours and the power supply.

Easy to check in, clean and warm and well equipped. Couldn't ask for better. Only wish we could have stayed longer. We had a very early flight from keflavik so decided to stay nearby and this was only 12 minutes away.

It’s a small town not far from the airport, the 7 people apartment is real big, and comfortable. The place is windy. It’s a big apartment and a nice place to visit on the arrival.

Maybe more brochures and info about what to do in that spot. The lighthouse is nice but further there are many cool stuff that we’d wanna know about - and the stairs in the 7 people apt… abit difficult if you have lots of luggage. The other apts don’t have stairs
