Very comfortable, well appointed room with handy private kitchenette/lounge in beautiful heritage building. Warm and kind hosts Jennie & Tony made me very welcome, ensuring l had everything l needed during my stay.

Our hosts were super hospitable, super friendly and super helpful. We were welcomed into their beautiful villa and made to feel very special indeed. The accommodation was superb, breakfast was fabulous (eg. freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit salad made with fresh fruit and toast with homemade jams. Highly recommended.

Jennie and Tony welcomed me into their warm and comfortable home and made me feel really comfortable and relaxed.
Their home exudes all of the above and is immaculate.Jennie prepares Breakfast with special extras and gifts her attention to you without being intrusive.
I left my lunch behind and Jennie delivered it to me without complaint I will come back.

Only negative was the noise from the main road, but that didn't really bother us.

The hosts were super kind and gave plenty of tips on where to go and what to see. We really enjoyed the conversations and aprreciated the help. We had a lovely stay and enjoyed the room and house, we were taken care of so wonderfully. The stay felt more like visting long time friends than meeting strangers. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone in the area. :)

Although it was in someone’s home the bedroom set up was fully functional to be seperate from the host house.
Well set up in the kitchenette with ample supplies for my two day’s breakfast supplied.
Lovely host’s with plenty of information to help with my stay and further travels.

The most wonderful stay! Jennie is a fantastic host. The room was incredibly clean, and breakfast was perfect. Loved the walk into town that Jennie detailed for me as well. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The beautiful Kauri villa is in the heart of Whangarei easy to find and close to lots of amenities. Our room was spacious with en suite and small kitchenette, complete with continental breakfast. The house felt very welcoming Ana relaxed, and Jenni and Tony were exceptional hosts providing valuable information about the best things to see and do, and places to eat.
The only small downside is road noise, however, this is not continuous and does quieten at night.

absolutely everything was tops. hosts Jenny and Tony went out of their way to look after us, including travel tips and destination advice beyond their own region. the breakfast was yummy and included home made gf goodies for me! we were reluctant to leave.

Chelsea House is in a great location in Whangerai. Jennie and Toni are wonderful hosts, with amazing hospitality!

Such a lovely property. So clean, which is top of my list of requirements. Jennie was friendly and welcoming. I was very comfortable and had a good nights sleep. Highly recommend this B&B.

How comfortable the room and bed felt. The house was very homely and the hosts were very welcoming and great chatting with. This was my first time B&B and I enjoyed it. Will go back again for sure. Thank you for a great stay and breakfast. You don't even need the small things like shampoo and shower gel everything is all provided. Was awesome!! Great value for your money!!
