Noisy Shower

The location was delightful… tucked away in a peaceful bush setting. Each chalet (only four in total) was separated from the others so you were unaware of the occupants of the other chalets. Our car was in a covered carport right beside the front door which was excellent. On arrival our key was in a locked box beside the door. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. The rooms were a great size with a beautiful big rear deck complete with barbecue which we didn’t get to use, but was provided. There was a generous dining and living room so there was no feeling of being cramped at any time. Everything went extremely smoothly for our time there and while it was in a secluded bush setting, it was a relatively short drive into Margaret River centre.

It’s hard to say what we didn’t like. We genuinely loved our time there. Phone reception wasn’t brilliant but we were able to work around that. There was a small washing machine which was great but a drier would certainly be helpful for miserable days. We were able to follow the sunshine and dry what we needed.

The 4 bedroom 2 bathroom large house was perfect for the 7 of us The large lounge room had big comfotable couches. The kitchen was good with big fridge, oven, Microwave plenty of bench space.a Dishwasher with the tablets provided. There is a washing machine in the laundry that works well with washing powder and pegs provided and a clothesline under the Verandah. Good parking space on the quiet large property. The Margaret River township is only a 10 min drive The wood fire in the lounge room worked very well and there is also an Airconditioner on the wall.

The outside of the house is a bit dirty from strong winds and bugs but the outdoor furniture on the Verandah was clean and comfortable.

Perfect, comfortable, magical place

Love the nature and rustic feel of the chalet which was spacious for our family of 8. We stayed in Acacia Chalet #4. The kids were delighted to find games like Jenga and Monopoly that kept them entertained. Good location for visiting the attractions and vineyards in Margaret River.

The water pressure was weak in the common bathroom. So we ended up having to take turns using the bathroom in the master bedroom to shower.

the house was freezing. The air con unit is not sufficient for the house. We were expecting a wood fire as shown in the pictures. It’s false advertising!

Instructions for TV were wrong - its HDMI2. Not contacted or met on arrival. Property needs a bit of an update.

Located approx 8km out of Margaret River, very private & surrounded by trees. Very clean & had all you needed at the chalet if you wanted just a few days away from city life. Very relaxing. Great kitchen & BBQ facilities. For cool temperatures, electric blankets on beds were heavenly & plenty of throw rugs to keep you warm.

The chalets were well appointed with cooking and laundry facilities. I liked the complimentary washing detergent sachet, very thoughtful.

The location and wildlife was great. The house was comfortable with family. Great sized family room with all the windows.

Oven needs replacing. Soap holders in showers would help. No TV for 2 days and missed the Eagles Game
