Being by the lake was great and being next to the walkway. Great parking.

Facilities were dated. Reception was next door.

The location was great, it was really clean & very comfortable. I didnt use it but theres a lovely warm outdoor pool in the cosy central courtyard. Meals are available at the adjoining hotel resturant, but too pricey for my budget. Great parking also. I loved my stay & would stay there again.

Tea & coffee tucked away in a dresser cupboard. There is a note on the dresser top but I didn't see it so I payed $6 for a cup of tea at the restaurant only to find the 'hidden' goodies afterwards. So this could be mentioned at check-in, or on the information sheet which is handed to guests at check-in.

The room service dinner was lovely. The location is great next to the lake.

It had a kitchenette with a stove but the stove top was broken, wouldn't heat. The main pool was too hot - actually had to go to the smaller hot pool with my toddler which was ironically cooler. The fan in the bathroom clacks and the water pump is noisy through the night. The room service was nice but don't tell you it has a surcharge. I booked for the location but it was stormy so didn't get to enjoy it for that. Not much going for it, same price but not as good as de bretts

Pool hot and clean, apartment was well situated and comfortable. Easy access to waterfront.

Great location, the pool was great and it was good to be able to access it from our room.

I left an item in the room, the Sunday receptionist was helpful but the Monday receptionist was rude and unhelpful. I asked to book for next year, she said she would get back to me but hasn't.

10 out of 10 for the view. Lovely warm pool. met the cleaning staff on check out and they were so warm and friendly and smiley. Good shower. But back to the view! I could have sat all day and looked out at the lake and mountains - just amazing.

the reception was closed from late afternoon so if you require anything you have to go next door. We were in the pool and wanted to use the spa but it was locked. We were not going to get dried and dressed to walk next door to ask if someone could let us in so that wasn't great. Rooms very clean and tidy but decor old and tired. veneer lifting in places etc. had a cold snap and the rooms were freezing - could have done with more blankets on the beds. queen bed fine but smallest single beds ever - okay for kids not so much adults.

The staff were super lovely, kitchen and shower were awesome bed was super soft really nice

The unit we had was dated needs an upgrade colours were reds and browns, little midges were flying into the kids rooms and bathrooms thru the louvres windows. And there were ants in the bathroom

There was nothing much to like about this Motel. It was near the shore of Lake Taupo but that was it. The restaurant next door was good but pricey.

The room was terrible it was situated in a barrack type arrangement, wedged between other rooms. The room itself was very samll not even room to boil the kettle which had to sit on the floor. The worst was the outside door had a window in it and a bright light was positioned outside. There was no way to cover the window so the room was bright as day through out a very sleepless night. Dont stay its is terrible.
