Room was lovely. Central to shops and restaurants.

Host dogs were an issue. For a pet friendly place, no garden for a quick toilet trip. Have stayed in much better places for half the money. No help offered to carry luggage upstairs. £50-£60 a night is a more realistic rate

Location perfect close to town and castle and lovely pub on the next corner. Owners friendly and helpful, our dogs loved there nights sleep .

The breakfast was too greasy. Also I thought £20 was too much for payment for bringing the dog for on night’s stay.

I was travelling as a foot passenger to France and the ferry was an easy 10 minute walk, so for me an excellent location. The full English breakfast was freshly prepared, not just pre-cooked and left on a hot plate, and it was delicious, one of the best breakfasts I have eaten in a hotel.

Great made to order breakfast with good choices. Really nice room, large, view and very comfortable. Nice bathroom. Convenient to "downtown" and to a good pub. Very helpful hosts - we had a couple of requests re: Covid test results and getting a taxi which they answered.

Not handicap accessible but not something we needed but someone else might. Stairway to get to second story narrow and winding. Again, not a problem for us and they carried our luggage upstairs! So, I can't really say this is something we didn't like as it was not a problem for us. Would certainly stay here again.

Location was excellent for getting ferry early in the money. Free car parking on road outside. Room was lovely and clean, sadly we weren’t able to have breakfast due to early ferry. Ample supply of tea and coffee Stayed in attic room so lovely and quiet, great nights sleep - comfy beds

This place was so much more than my wife and I could ever have imagined. We loved the location, just being down the hill from Dover castle and just a little ways from the beaches. We loved the room, it was picture perfect! Our host gave amazing recommendations and the breakfast was to die for. We will be recommending this place to everyone that we know will be in the area and we hope to be back soon.

I only had a small room by request, which would be tight for anyone other than single occupancy but, all things considered good value accomodation.
