Didn't have access to all spa

We were put the old part of the building and I don’t feel it’s worth what we paid

It took 2 hours to get room service and we have a two year old toddler & they didn’t even have a kids menu. The spa was disappointing they’ve put all there money into the club spa, that the one for guests is really old and run down. There wasn’t even somewhere to get water. I have been to both and I was very disappointed in the hotel guest area. Surely this should be the most important.

Restaurant service , had to ask for a menu five times !! Service very slow even though it was not busy!

Great grounds- So very pretty. Lobby and restaurants well decorated and kept. Rooms have been updated since my last stay and the ones overlooking the grounds are lovely. Breakfast was ok nothing exceptional. staff are really nice but unorganised and everything takes ages.

Lovely staff but very slow and unorganised. Visited a lot of departments and found all to be very slow and unorganised. Forgetting drink orders, reception staff took ages and didn’t know how to use computer systems properly and not clearing plates Way when asked from breakfast. plus restaurant staff not really knowing who was having what when ordered. Not what you would expect.

check in is at 3pm and you can use the spa from then but check out is 11am so you can only use the spa up till then . So that is less than 24 hour use .

Really pleasant stay. Well presented. Enjoyed Omboo restaurant- delicious food and nice environment. Spa pleasant.

£5 a little steep for a coffee. Spa area could benefit from some towel hooks/advisories so that the seats & beds aren’t hogged by towels rather than people. water pressure in bathroom could be improved.

the room was modern and clean. everything was easily reachable from the room (restaurants, spa, etc) nice robe and slippers in the bedroom. we liked Omboo for dinner. breakfast was average. good car parking.

the swimming pool felt a bit cold so we didn't dare getting in (the jacuzzis were fine though) omboo's price was on the expensive side (we enjoyed the food but didn't think the price is the right one for what you get. not too close to st albans so going there for food etc its like 10mins+ on the road.

Staff were super friendly at all times! we upgraded to the club and it was the perfect day the facilities there are amazing.

the old tired rooms. The brasserie is in desperate need of upgrading. it’s an unpleasant place to sit and eat in what is otherwise a really good hotel. I’m sure they intend to do this.

Facilities were very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The young man in the bar was very pleasant as were the staff in the restaurant.

On the expensive side. A service charge was added to all the bills without being pointed out to us! The Brasserie was busy and our food was a long time coming.
