Super Hostel, das mit seinen freundlichen und professionellen Mitarbeitern, den sauberen und mit allem Notwendigen ausgestatteten Privatzimmern eher einem Hotel für junge und jung gebliebene Leute gleicht. Schöne Gemeinschaftsräume/-Küche. Tolle Dachterrasse mit kleinen Pool. Danke für den Welcomedrink am ersten Abend, der bewusst zum gegenseitigen Kennenlernen eingesetzt wird. Zentrale und sichere Lage für die fußläufige Besichtigung des historischen Cartagena. Übrigens: das Los Patios in Medellin ist nahezu genauso empfehlenswert ….. und ich bekomme nichts für die Empfehlung 😉 … habe aber auf meinen vielen Reisen durch die Welt selten eine so stimmige Unterkunft in diesem Preissegment gehabt.😄

Das Haus liegt in einem wunderschönen Gebäude mit tollem Innenhof und Dachterrasse. Die Zimmer sind modern, super sauber und haben ihr eigenes, schönes Bad. Die Lage ist perfekt und das Hostel tut viel um seine Gäste zusammen zu bringen zum Beispiel mit einem kostenlosen Welcome Drink auf der Terrasse. Es ist also ein toller Ort um Leute kennen zu lernen, wenn man alleine unterwegs ist.

Los Patios in Cartagena is super comfortable and a great place to meet new people! Easy to navigate to and from when walking around the city. Their AC'd rooms are killer and saver throughout the day and night. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with any issues!

Almost got locked out at night because of a shift change, the issues was quickly figured out though.

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut mitten in der Innenstadt von Caratgena. Unser Zimmer war klein, aber zweckmässig. An der Rooftop-Bar haben wir einen Welcome Drink bekommen. Sehr sauber. Eine Oase in Cartagena. Vor allem die Klimaanlage haben wir genossen :-).

Perfect location!! This hostel is a really nice spot to connect with other travelers. The staff is super helpfull and friendly and very active and enthousiastic. They offer a free welcome drink, salsa class and game night and also celebrate special days like international women’s day. Although the pool is tiny, it’s nice to do siësta in there (or enjoy the stunning sunset with view over the city). There’s also a clean kitchen and plenty of space to relax. Dorms are small but clean and practical with good aircondition.

Although we really liked that the hostel celebrates international women’s day, it would be even more great if they can fix the toilet doors so everyone can enjoy privacy and in that way feel safe while traveling ;-)

Some good activities. A few friendly staff members, however the hostel manager was very unprofessional.

My room was not cleaned everyday which I would expect for £85 per night for a private hostel room. After I told the staff on Wednesday that my room was not cleaned for 2 days, my room was cleaned that day. Unfortunately again on Thursday my room was not cleaned and I raised this with a staff member on Friday morning who apologised and said my room would be cleaned on Friday, which it was. When I checked out I raised my concerns about my room only being cleaned 2 times out of my 6 night stay, the staff told me it was not true and the cleaners had cleaned my room. I requested to look at the CCTV, after reviewing the CCTV the staff agreed that the cleaners had not cleaned my room on 3 of the days. They advised me that the hostel manager would be in touch with a solution. After I left the hostel I received inappropriate and unprofessional Whatsapp messages from the Cartagena hostel manager who accused me of lying about the whole situation and I had to block her. I raised my concerns to the Medellín los patios who were actually very apologetic about my experience and helpful in passing my complaint on to the national customer service manager who apologised to me and looked into the situation. The national customer service manager was very helpful in resolving the situation.

Cool beautiful hostel right in front of one of the best restaurant in town. Staff is very nice and always eager to help. Quiet.

Had a private room in the ground floor. Smelt a bit mouldy and price too high for what it is but was quiet. Shower did not close right.

Super clean and very new.

Very tiny dorms - even by hostel standards. There isn’t any room for multiple people to stand in the 4 person dorm.

Tolles Hostel, das eher einem schönen Hotel gleicht. Super freundliches Personal, das einem schnell weiterhilft. Die täglichen Programme wie Joga, walking Tour, Tanzkurs u.ä. Ist wirklich was besonderes. Die Rooftop bar ist auch spitze!

Wir hatten ein sehr kleines Zimmer aber das steht ja beim buchen dabei und ist für die Stadt hier normal.

- perfect location super close to everything - they offer a lot of social activities - the whole building was very clean and looked nice

- noise level: rooms in the hostel are still under construction and the building next door is a very big construction site. There’s constant loud noise and you can’t actually use your room during the day because of that - the hostel staff was not helpful at all and very unfriendly when we asked if we could get another room because of the noise - rooms are quite small and very pricey - we have expected much more for the price

It's brand new. Also the staff are extremely friendly and encourage people to mix and meet

It was noisy. It's not finished yet so expect banging most of the day. The dorm rooms are also very badly insulated.

Die Unterkunft scheint noch neu zu sein. Unser Zimmer war schön groß und das Bad sauber. Auf dem Dach gibt es noch eine tolle Rooftop Bar. An der Rezeption wird sehr gutes Englisch gesprochen.

Mooi hostel, prachtige tekeningen op de muur, ruime kamers (deluxe wel). Mooi dakterras, heel relaxt!

De standaard kamer vind ik qua prijs / kwaliteit verhouding niet goed. Persoonlijk vind ik het te duur voor wat je krijgt. Daarbij was er een hoge luchtvochtigheid in de kamer, dus de lakens waren heel klam. Dit was niet prettig. Daarbij moet ik wel zeggen dat dit heel netjes en attent is opgelost door het personeel, we heb en een upgrade gekregen. Dit waarderen we enorm, bedankt!

I loved Los Patios. The staff is incredibly friendly, the other guests were amazing people, the rooms were nice and clean with hot water, the activities were a ton of fun, and I was sad that I had to leave. Stephen and Jesus made sure we had a great time and their energy was contagious. Danny behind the bar was also phenomenal.

Honestly I loved it. Maybe adding a restaurant would be nice.
