The views were outstanding. We stayed just 2 nights but wished we could have stayed more. Staff and manager were lovely and breakfast was delicious.
If I'm being really picky , would be nice to have a rug each side of the bed :)

Great property, comfortable and clean, and well-maintained. The views are breathtaking, seeing the sunset over false bay is a sight not to miss. Property is remote so you get peace and quiet, and the stars at night are beautiful to see. Some great wineries around (e.g. Idiom). The staff are fantastic, very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. The food at the venue, although limited options, was very tasty. There are some walking paths around the property, but did not do them so will not comment.
Property is a bit removed, so you need a car to get to nearby stores or restaurants etc. To be honest this was not a problem as we spent most of our time at the lodge.

Absolutely stunning place in the most beautiful location. Facilities were great. Room very clean and host super helpful. Would highly recommend .

A very beautiful and tranquil setting in nature. You can walk around the area and see some stunning views. Rose is extremely kind and helpful. This is a perfect spot if you want to get away and just take in the nature. Lots of wineries nearby too. It's only like 30 - 40 minutes away from Cape Town too, so very convenient.

What a beautiful property overlooking the whole of Somerset West, the views were just breathtaking. My room was lovely and cosy with an added bonus of a fireplace. The staff and host were so helpful and friendly, dinner was amazing set in a lovely cabin feel dinning area. I had a early check out and the staff/host were so accommodating with breakfast before I left. Just wished I had the time to go on some of the walks available on the beautiful secure estate.

The place was breathtaking and perfect for my birthday weekend. It was so peaceful and the views were absolutely amazing. The staff (Rose) was very helpful and always willing to assist us. Everything was just perfect! My partner and I will definitely come back.

Really wonderful stay. Hostess Rose and her team are so welcoming. Lalapanzi is warm in the true sense of the word; the building retains its heat even on the coldest winter day. Energy backup during loadshedding

The location, the wooden construction, the floor heating, the terrace, the wood-fired hot-tub, the darkness and silence in the night, the fireplace in the living room, the professional management.
The loadshedding, but that's more of a national problem in RSA, and it actually added to the fun/adventure. In any case, our hosts always alerted us well in advance.

Stunning location with spectacular views and beautiful walking trails. Rose and her staff were very friendly, helpful and went the extra mile. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.

Large room with perfect view at sunset. Very kind staff and in general safe place.

The location and views are great. Total tranquility. Awesome pool in the forrest. Breakfast was served on our patio in the morning.
The room is little dated, needs some TLC.
