Super amazing area for super great price.

Pillows were wayyyy too soft and basically nonexistent.

Location is close to the bus stop. It has almost everything you need to self cater. It was comfortable and warm. It had a great selection of TV channels. Including most of the UK mainstream channels.its lovely and quiet even though its is on the road to Stechelberg.

It is 35 minute walk to Lauterbrunnen so one is dependent on catching the bus in the evening which reduces to once an hour after about 18.30. The Internet keeps dropping out. Its not really possible to stream anything. I ended up using my phone data for streaming. It would benefit from the addition of a microwave. None of these are very important and I have stayed here before so knew about the location. Just minor improvement with the Internet and the provision of a microwave would make Rosli perfect.

Actual location and view. Easy public transport access. Necessary consumables available. Welcome chocolates. Hosts available when required. High standard of cleanliness and Covid 19 rules observed. Fresh milk available 24/7 two houses up - have coins ready. TV with selection of world channels and TV internet providers.

Internet slightly slow.

The apartment was roomy and comfortable. The host was helpful and available. The setting was spectacular.

The only drawback was the distance from grocery stores and amenities. You would definitely need your own car when staying here unless you are happy with the bus transportation that, while regularly available, was prohibitively expensive for short trips.

This warm and cosy place must have been one of the best-organised self catering accommodations I have ever stayed at! Frau Gertsch has been running it for over 10 years and so much is based on experience and the needs of many previous travellers. Fresh super soft towels, bedlinen and a good foam mattress too! If you do want attention, you need to go elsewhere as you will be left to your own devices after an initial introduction. People are very nonintrusive in this part of the world and that is what makes a stay in the valley so relaxing and almost meditative. Right in the heart of the magical Lauterbrunnen valley with Schilthornbahn and Trümmelbachfälle both within easy walking distance, you cannot go wrong spending your money on the beautiful Chalet Rösli (recommended for 2 people and luxuriously spacious for just one)!

The road outside your bedroom window is frequented (not during the night) but can be silenced with a set of proper earplugs. The view from the bedroom as well as your front door do make more than up for it! For sunlight in autumn do remember it's a very steep valley.
