It's a great location in a great place, specially for families. The pool area and the beach are certainly the main assets.
The whole place is in need of an update, specially the gym is very much outdated. Even if we asked for an early check-in it was now the second time that the room was not ready at the regular check-in time 3pm.

Todo estuvo excelente, si tuve un percance con la bañera que se tapo y no tenia agua caliente, la arreglaron y medio funciono, pero son cosas que se pueden mejorar

I love the comfortable bed and pillows, nice view of the pool etc.
At 2 A.M i was awaken by a noise. I was in the 3rd floor. below there were people dancing and talking in a very high voice. I was in the 3rd floor and with my doors closed and it woke me up. I can't not reach the reception. I took a video of the whole thing and i started thinking that the behavior of the people at 2 am in the outside below me was not acceptable in the kind of hotel I was staying and made me very sad. Maybe the standards for Buenaventura are relax now. I stayed before and i never encounter that kind of behavior on any guest before. I can see from above the security man were just looking at the small noisy crowd and they didn't say anything to them

El desayuno estuvo muy bien.
Almuerzo regular.
Cena muy mal. No hay una persona capacitada para atender grupos familiares. Se requiere formación y supervisión.
El personal se muestra voluntarioso pero no tienen formación adecuada.
No hay justificación en un hotel que se precia de tener nivel de excelencia y precios muy altos que no estén preparados para ofrecer un servicio de excelencia también.
Alguna de las instalaciones exteriores les falta mantenimiento.
A nuestra llegada (7:00 pm), no había personal de recibimiento; el mismo empleado de la recepción tuvo que atender el equipaje.

Tai Kai is not wonderful. The mattress and pillows were too soft. We listened people and kids in the corridor, not much privacy.

They knocked on our door at 10pm and where trying to force the entry when we didn’t open. They claimed to be house keeping but it was a very weird hour to do that. We didn’t feel safe after that

This is a beautiful place , but let me tell you that in the hallway of our room there was balls of human hair and dust bunnies and they stayed there for days before someone cleaned it. That was gross.
We had food in 2 different restaurants and wasn’t impressed with it. For the resort you expect a lot more, very average food.

The property is hugged. You enjoy a lot if space in an outstanding design, decor, landscape with flowers, birds, iguanas... Many pools nicely arranged in multiple areas of property. Clean beach with all perks a and amities. Plus a great and friendly staff that will go the extra mile to enhance your stay.

it’s a great property to unwind. There is lots to enjoy, such as beach, pool, tennis courts, free bicycles, various restaurants, gym, there is even a zoo and stables !
After dinner, it would be great to have some night life, entertainment, music ..etc

the spa was disappointing… even though massage was great! sauna, jacuzzi and steam were barely warm! you really need to renovate in there ASAP.

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are first class. Everything is well kept (except see above) and exceptionally clean. The grounds are extensive. Varied restaurants and bars and a terrific deli
The bikes for guest use need upgraded. The brakes on mine barely worked
