The apartment was clean

No staff there

The living room was OK and the beds were comfortable. The location was right next to bus station which was convenient. There was a park right next to the house. There was a mini market in the same block.

There was no one there to receive us. The room was not cleaned properly during our 7 day visit. The TV was in a place were you could not watch, The sink in the toilet was too small. We got a basement apartment, even though we specifically asked not to get one and our booking was 2 months early

Helpful staff.

Location was further away than expected and there wasnt much around the area, no atmosphere. Was quite difficult to get to. Area didn't feel very safe, someone was banging on our neighbours door at 3am and sounding very aggressive. When walking in the corridors were filled with dirty towels and linen on the floor.

Cramped bathroom facilities, Low water pressure in shower, 3rd flour! After 6pm check-in friendly but tricky in the dark. Expensive.

never got the wifi password, no lift so i had to climb 3 stories of stairs. 15 mins walk to underground. smallish and no sound proof

No bedside lamps. No bin in the toilet.

it was further out of central London than we realised, though not a major problem.

The staff member who checked me in and out was friendly and efficient. She showed me the amenities and my room, which was clean but seemed to lack available spare sockets for charging devices.

Unfortunately, this location takes a refundable £100 deposit on check-in. This is stated up-front and was explained before I paid but I would still prefer to not have to budget £100 extra on top of the price of the room itself. The rules also did not allow for bringing another person back at risk of paying a fine. I would rather stay elsewhere and have more freedom in what I do and more money in my back pocket.

Great location

We were lucky with a parking space. Lack of parking facilities in the area.

We needed somewhere to stay at very short notice and this was booked in haste as there were very few places within our budget available for the nights we needed. We were therefore very pleasantly surprised when we got into our room. It was compact, but very comfortable and quiet. We were able to control the temperature easily, which was great as it was during snowy weather so to have a nice cosy room was very welcome. The kitchen was well equipped for such a small space, with oven, microwave, toaster and kettle. We absolutely loved the original features in the bathroom and as we were in the attic we had a wonderful view of the stonework on the roof from our skylight windows. While it's a bit out of the way, there is a bus stop outside with two buses that take you to the nearest underground station in 10 minutes, or an eight minute walk to the nearest overground station. Will definitely stay again.

The room layout was a little odd, with the wardrobe at the end of the bed, which slightly obscured the TV. It would have been much better beside the kitchen units and the TV moved to the centre of the wall with the table at the end of the bed. Also two chairs would have been good as one of us had to sit on the bed to eat dinner. I imagine every room has a different layout though, so this may only apply to this particular room and definitely not a deal breaker as otherwise everything was perfect.
