Mare Monte is a beautiful boutique hotel nestled between the old and new ports and a short walking distance to both for dinner and shopping. Maria and Spiros go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The brunch was fantastic; so much variety and some of the best spanakopita and dolmathes I’ve had the whole time in Greece!
If we return to Spetses, we will definitely return to Mare Monte!

Beautiful suite, very nice outdoor area with the pool, which was also a jacuzzi. The room was super clean, the breakfast was super tasty with handmade products and amazing coffee, and the owners were so friendly that you felt like home. Location central yet far from noise, which allows for a relaxing vacation!

We had such an incredible stay here! Maria & the staff are exceptional—so accommodating & pleasant. They really made our stay special. The hotel itself is clean, quaint and really a treat. I’m so glad we chose to stay here and hope to be back again soon.

I can only say this hotel was exceptional. Very clean, quiet close to all amenities and the staff was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this location. will definitely return. Spetses is a very elegant and beautiful island.

The service was outstanding! And the place is beautiful! Also very conveniently located near the Port and restaurants. Maria gave us great recommendations for food and drinks and they were all a hit! We loved coming to Spetses and will definitely be staying at Mare Monte again.

The property & grounds were serene. The staff were wonderful. Very, calm & helpful.
We had our own private patio area with lime trees & pomegranate trees. It is a beautiful property. I would certainly recommend anyone visiting Spetses to stay here.
Nothing to do with the property as such. The road outside could be noisy & as much as I love dogs, the dog next door. Though, on our arrival, we were offered a free upgrade.

We’ve just had a fabulous stay at Mare Monte . Maria, Spiros and family were amazing hosts and nothing was too much trouble. The home baked cakes, made by Maria’s mother, were delicious! Great location so within easy walking distance to all restaurants and shops. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending Mare Monte!

This was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful building, fantastic room and superb hospitality from Maria, Spiros, Maria and everyone else who helps run this lovely hotel. There was so much choice at breakfast.
