Have been here twice. Got a Thai House room with a little bit of sea view. 20 seconds walk to the sea. It's 3 star and still recovering from the pandemic, but the place makes for a very relaxing stay. We really enjoy this part of Samet. The resort is at the far end of a quieter bay and is probably the quietest part of this bay. Lovely beach and swimming. Can snorkle near the rocks but not amazing snorkelling.

Next time I will definitely take the private speed boat offered by the resort themselves. 1000 baht per person (return) direct to the resort.

Great location on the beach and nice to have the option of a pool. Happy Hour was a bonus as well!

The rooms were clean but for the price they were neglected and run down. Sinks were blocked constantly & would not drain so this attracted bugs and ants unnecessarily. Breakfast was satisfactory with little choice. The most disappointing part was the service and poor communication. Some of the staff were nice but a large majority seemed reluctant to help when asked a question. We left the hotel 2 hours before our boat was due to leave and was told to wait for a songtaew. After waiting for 1 hour it came but the Russian/Thai man managing the taxiing only let 8 people get on and there were just 2 of us left. We were then just told to wait for the next one when we clearly could have got the same songthaew (there was plenty of room). As we were now going to be late the hotel did nothing to help nor did they explain why we couldnt get the same sogthaew. We were clearly being ripped off but if the man had told us he would only take 8 people then we could have made other arrangements a lot earlier. This was obviously an agreement with the taxi drivers on how to make more money etc. The man just kept saying it was busy but there were empty taxis everywhere. We ended up having to pay 250 baht because no one else would pick us up. I am a regular to Samet but normally stay Tub Tim/Samed Villa side. We were optimistic and happy when we first arrived but on account of the service we definitely will not be returning.

Fantastic location near to the beach. Has a lot of things that can be used/rented: SUP, surf boards, kajaks. New staff is nice and helpfull, but needs a "warm up"

It's obvious that covid had a negative impact. The old, very good staff is gone. The hotel is in a good shape, but needs a bit of TLC.

Take anti mosquito liquids ( better electric - burning are forbidden!) with you! Not from Citronella - too weak.

The bay is idyllic, couldn't have asked for more, beautiful white sand and crystal clear sea. Nice and peaceful, ideal for those looking for a quiet getaway. Breakfast was decent with a varied selection and the staff were friendly and helpful. Free use of the resorts kayak and paddleboat.

The room, (thai house) was not as shown in the photos, there are 15 or so in total and only the first 4 match the photos shown, the others are smaller and not nearly as nice, couple this with beds that I presumed were made from concrete, it put a dampener on my overall experience. Gardens could use more maintenance plus there was ongoing renovation work that began early.

Decent resort with reasonable facilities. Lovely beach. Very friendly staff.

Food was average overall, but breakfast extremely disappointing. Western breakfast options very limited. No fresh eggs station, no bacon, no hash browns, no baked beans, no grilled tomatoes. Only awful white sliced bread. No marmalade, no honey. Only Liptons tea. these can all be provided as shown by Samed Villa just up the coast.

We visited almost all the other bays on the island and this was by far the prettiest bay with the calmest waters. It is a bit more of a quiet family area which suited us best rather than the busier beaches nearer the port. Perfect for a doing nothing kind of holiday It was super easy to get taxis around the island or walk along the coast between the beaches. There are lots of beach bars and restaurants on this bay and once we found out they could substitute any meat for tofu we could get proper Thai meals as vegetarian! Very happy. White sand meant no need to worry about walking in sea but there were no fish when snorkeling and the only option for seeing any was a half day boat trip between 5 islands.

Staff so helpful and lovely location. The facilities were so close to the sea that you could sit on the beach to have dinner! Lovely clean pool as well as the warm sea!

The restaurant and coffee bar seemed to close very early - 9pm - without that being clear to us.

Perfect location right on the beach! Shallow, sandy beach with gentle waves. Wonderful staff, nice pool, clean rooms and tables in the sand for dinner on the beach.
