The facilities were wonderful and the staff really attentive, even with very small details.

The heating wasn’t adjustable so the rooms were a little uncomfortable but they provided a fan which helped immensely! Also the in-room dining wasn’t up to scratch really.

1 adult, two teenagers.It was a very disappointing 5 night stay. Starting from arrival, no welcome, no help on take baggage, room was not ready and got disappointed because I booked a room for 3 person with breakfast included, but they insisted the breakfast they include is just for 2, third person need to pay, took some discussion to get also the third person included. After getting into the room found some big marks on the window, some handprint and worst then all, someone licked the glass before, all still there, so the sanitation of the room is not happening in the hotel, I also found some pills of previous guest under the bed. Amenities in room where just for one person, even we clearly booked and paid for 3. Need to asked several times to get some bath shower gel and water. We were in a no smoking floor, but aside elevator there were several cigarettes waste, so were smoke smell. I asked concierge some tips suggestions to visit Qingdao, she told me better i browse internet and book ticket myself. Breakfast, first day we’ve seen a guy putting finger inside the buffet Nutella vase, then liking chocolate directly from vase. Nobody supervising. It was honestly disgusting as the vase then was still there till last day of our stay. We tried to rent hotel bikes.. went to all the process, deposit, papers… once on bike ready to go found out the tandem was broke, no other choice for my younger one. The lady said she new the bike was broke, but haven’t checked if someone repaired, no idea on when could be fixed, so we had to drop it. The position on the beach it is the only good point for this place, but you need to be aware there is a waste small river coming out from aside hotel and as the small sign say “if you love your life” you must move much further to bath, hotel will not mention about it. Great location with exclusive access to the beach for hotel guests. Rich selection for breakfast and it’s just wonderful to sit outside with an ocean view at good weather. Hotel facilities are clean and staff was friendly. Will come back soon!

Locating right next to the beach means a bit distance to the city center, with 20-30min. drive from/to the hotel.

The rooms are nice and have everything available. The beds are very comfortable and the view is magnificent. Bathroom is big and clean and magic glass in the bathroom is very cool. Breakfast is great. Location is right on the beach which is accessible from the hotel. City center is about half an hour by taxi.

The room wasn't available on our check-in time and we were told to wait without being offered coffee, juice or lounge which we had to ask for. No umbrellas available for rent in the hotel. No beer available during buffet lunch even for extra fee.

Check in was delayed by more than 2 hours. We got a call that we can check in. Arriving at the reception they told us that the rooms are still not ready.

Old but cozy room, spacious bathtub, good breakfast, close to the sea.

We arrived at the property very early in the morning. We couldn’t have early check in because the hotel was full. So we registered and went for a walk. Soon I had a message on my phone that the hotel is trying to take money from me for two days stay. Even though that I already paid at the property, even though I actually didn’t have to pay before actual check in. The stuff at the reception explained that the hotel was full and they just wanted to get money in advance to be sure that I will stay there. They said that they had to call but actually nobody didn’t. For this nobody said even ‘sorry’. Even ‘sorry’! I said that all that situation wasn’t normal. The only answer I got from the stuff: “I understand”. All the receptionists (and I talked to many of them) has very poor English and I don’t think it’s right for a hotel if such a level. I was shocked and very disappointed with such an attitude. Will never stay in this chain any more.

The hotels is really nice and comfortable to stay in. Good breakfast. Comfy beds.

We would really like to have a balcony in the room.

When arrived to the hotel front door by car we unloaded our luggage, my wife stayed at the front door with the it and I drove away to look for the parking space. When I returned to the front door in 15 minutes after leaving the car at parking I found that nobody from the staff bothered to help my wife with the luggage (2 suitcases) and she still was staying at the front door.

The location was amazing. Right next to the (clean) beach. Check-in and the rest of the staff were great, the Chinese restaurant was incredible, breakfast delicious. Rooms were large enough and great value for the money.

Bed and pillows were abit uncomfortable ... but everyone has their own “taste” when it comes to mattresses (hard or soft or in between), so this is not a negative point in general, just a personal one.

Staff was amazing and friendly, very helpful and friendly! The view was spectacular.

There was a very strange sound during the night, like someone drilling into a wall. It might have been pipes from someone using the bathroom in another room.

One of the best places to stay in Qingdao. Wonderful ocean views. Great restaurant (Dong Hai 88) in house. Nice wines available. Also a new tea shop, where you can try excellent tea and even have a small tea ceremony. Regent club on the 21st floor with superb service. Massages in spa highly recommended. Very attentive staff. Only 10-15 minutes to busy downtown.

The beds are a bit old style. Are supposed to be changed. Service helped with an extra topper, everything fine than.
