Friendly staff, spotlessly clean, exceptional value for money and great to have restaurant ‘El Recó de l'Avi’ attached. Loved the traditional Caitlan Pa amb tomaquet with charcuterie and cheese for breakfast. Lots of information available on local walks/rides. This place is an absolute gem !

We liked the hotel and took the half board option. The food choice was good and included a carafe of wine. It suited us as an overnight stop on the route we had planned through the Spanish Pyrenees.
The half board is a must because there did not appear to be any other restaurants in the town which were open in the evening. Although the wine was included we had to pay extra for coffee.

The hotel is located in a quiet village on the mountain. The trail paths are just outside the door. The staff is nice.
Our terrace was just a corner with all the AC machines buzzing and pumping hot air into our window.

Very nice and cozy family owned hotel with restaurant! Nice place to stay, when visiting the mountains and for hiking adventures. Thanks for the hosts! Please, support local business, and use the restaurant. Ask for the tasty sangria! :) Free parking, free internet. Shops nearby.

The owners were very nice. Although we hadnt booked for dinner they offered us to dine in, which was great as nothing else was open in the village.
The room was very clean. We appreciated that toiletries were in big ecological containers. It was easy to park and our room had a view on the river.
There was a constant buzzing noise (like coming from an aircon or a pump) and as the place was quite it was hard not to notice.
Fresh fruits at breakfast would have been nice.

i just choose it for a place to crash one night and it was ok. the place is clean and fine. I just needed a bed and nothing more.
Couldn't sleep because there was a mechanical noise coming from just out the window, i don't exactly what it was but it was going all night.. Some kind of motor noise. The guy at the reception was for sure not standing for being nice. seems almost it was bothered. also in my price it was included the breakfast but since i had to leave early, couldn't do it.. when we talked during the phone he said we're going to arrange something, then when i was there, nothing.. So at the end i didn't have any breakfast there. for sure will never go back there.

The hotel is located in a very convenient spot and a perfect solution to visit the Berguedà area. Pedraforca it's also just a 30-minute drive away. We had to book last minute and didn't realise there was a swimming pool until we got there. That was a wonderful surprise in such a hot day! We had a short but great stay at Casa Duaner!
