Rooms Ambrožič is really close to the old town of Ljubljana, the famous dragon bridge really close. You might not even need to take a bus neither to the city center, nor the train station.

If you can only sleep with a pitch black room, the following could be of concern: The windows can only be closed by a roller blind which primarily serves as privacy protection.

it was in the last 4th floor and there’s no elevator so it was always a journey to reach our apartment. the bathroom is separate to the room. it’s right next but we had to keep the bathroom door locked so no one would use it. at this last floor there are 2 doors. the room and the bathroom. but other guests didn’t know so people would constantly keep coming upstairs to “check” where would it go. there should be a sign.

Very centric location, you can see the river from the window. There are many bars at a 2-min walk, and also some supermarkets. There are public buses close. The room was very tidy and it has everything needed.

There was no elevator to access the rooms. I personally didn't need it, but the stairs were slippery, so going with heavy lugagge may be problematic. There was no minifridge in the room.

We booked apartment Ambrozic because they offered free parking. At the same time parking in center of Dubrovnik cost 53 euro per day. Bozena explained how to take bus to old city and at the same time you can reach it for 15-20 min by walk. Apartment was clear, sweet and Bozena was so nice with us!

Room was well equipped for our stay, we had everything we needed. The location is great, near the city center with a great view of the river.

Convenient. It is a few steps from the dragon bridge. Walking distance to the tour sights. Right across the river there is a grocery. Very convenient. The place is about 12-15 mins walk from the main bus station. The receptionist is very friendly and nice. My room had a view of the river. Even though the outside of the hotel is a bit sketchy because of the construction and having no street lights and building has a graffiti, my room is very clean and nice.

AT the time I was there they were have a street construction. So it was muddy since it was also a rainy season So the street in front of the building was not nice. I arrived at 10pm at night to check in and there street has no lights, I couldnt find the place the check in. Since there was no lights it felt that the place is very sketchy at night. The receptionist area is in a different building. So arriving late at night, in a dark street, i couldnt find the number of the building and then to find out there is a note on the building door that the reception area to get your keys is a few more feet away. The building is old and has graffiti outside (see picture). The stairs inside the building needs updating too ( see picture). My air conditioner was not working properly

The situation of the appartment was perfect to visit the old center

Very small appartment.

Check in was uncomplicated, and I was able to check in before the set time as I arrived earlier. The room itself was simple, but very comfortable and clean.

Unfortunately, I was disturbed by the loud noises other guests were making coming back from late night drinks, several time. The noise from the hallway is not protected by the walls. Nothing that the host can be responsible for. But be aware.

The location of the accommodation is perfect. It is between the bus station and inside the old center of Ljubljana. The accommodation is comfortable enough for one or two people. I recommend this accommodation as long as you don't mind a bad wifi connection and would stay here again.

As per other reviews, the wifi in the accommodation is poor and sometimes not working. When I stayed, there was construction going on right in front of our accommodation, which was not informed to the guests beforehand. It started at 7AM, very early!!!! I believe it is important that the guests are aware of this type of information before arriving at the accommodation.

Staff was super helpful and friendly. They did our laundry for a small fee which was greatly appreciated as we could sightsee while that was being done. Room was spacious and had a great view of the river. Road construction outside made it a little difficult to get in and out but still workable. Would stay again if in the area. Locker room available to leave bags but had to dig out among other traveler bags. Location super convenient.

Had a great stay. Wouldn't change anything.
