The property is located right in the centre of the village. It is done up beautifully, with great care and attention to detail. The host, Fortunata is an amazing person and she took very good care of me. I was worried about my luggage and having to lug it from the station to her house, but Fortunata offered to both pick me up and drop me back to the station. She is wonderful to speak with, with our limited knowledge of each other’s language, we still managed to chat up. The breakfast is very good too. There’s also a functional kitchen for anyone who wants to cook. There’s a great restaurant right across her door and 2 good bars too :) if you want to truly experience Scilla, stay in Chianale and at Fortunata’s.

Nothing

There is absolutely nothing about U Catoiu not to like. It was a wonderful stay. Everything was just so special and different. Fortunata went out of her way to make us feel welcome, not to mention the fantastic, huge breakfast. 👌🏻 The only thing that we are sorry about, is that we could not stay longer. We would highly recommend.

View, set-up, clean, and very intentionally and cutely designed. The owner was so accommodating of my being vegan, and prepared a vegan breakfast just for me including a vegan orange cake!

Little terrazza literally 4m above the seaside. Fortunata, our hostess, exceptionally kind...drove to take our bags, drove to help us park, drove to return us. Breakfast for many although just us 2. Listen to the sea all night perfect

We had a lovely stay! The place itself is incredible. Literally on the water and everything a traveller needs in a place.

Me and my fiance stayed here two nights during our honeymoon in Sically and we were head over heels in love with this B&B! It's really a dream and I can't even imagine a better stay. The balcony had a beautiful ocean view, the room was charming and romantic, even the location was perfect, close to the beach and very nice restaurants!
