This is a lovely hotel in the upper region of Scilla. Our room was quiet with a comfortable bed. breakfasts were good and staff were always helpful. Nicoletta, one of the family members, was outstanding in her communication and friendliness. we greatly appreciated the pick up/drop off at the train station, as we had heavy bags.

Being in the upper area of the town was a disadvantage sometimes, as the elevator only operates from 9-6pm. It also closes during ripose for a couple of hours. The steps are doable, but they are steep and one needs a relatively good level of fitness.

There was a low ceiling which caused a knock on the head but that was all.

Very friendly family run hotel. hospitable and welcoming. breakfast was very good, breakfast area a little small which is typical of small hotel. located on the upper side of the town. didn’t mind the walk up after dinner at the lower part of town. parking was amole when i was there in December. safe street parking.

The host provided a lovely buffet breakfast which was excellent. Full choice of yoghurt, fresh fruit ,fresh bread croissants etc etc. Proper cappuccino and also fruit juice etc. It was really impressive and plenty to choose from. Parking was so close and easy. Nicolleta welcomed us at reception. She speaks good English and spent time telling us about the area. Our dog was made welcome too. Would definitely return. Excellent hosts. This hotel is a jewel and well worth a stopover.

It was a convenient place to stay after coming off the ferry from Messina. There was street parking opposite the property.

I have requested to be picked up from station and that was not a problem.

It didn't look much upon our arrival but we absolutely loved this hotel. Family run by mum, dad and two daughters I think. Bedroom 302 was spotless. Super comfy bed and a great view from rhe balcony. The big plus for me was both daughters spoke excellent English and were a huge help with suggestions and bookings. They really did go above and beyond which made our stay all the more comfortable. Thank you very much. I cannot recommend this little hotel highly enough.

Well positioned with easy parking on the road. Our room was comfortable and loved the open views to the sea. The staff were all very helpful and we would be very happy to stay there again.

Very friendly staff, supportive with booking problems (my fault) even in the middle of the night. Upon arrival, we received all the necessary information about the interesting places in Scilla and how to get there. Just ask them where to get the best pesce spada panini in town... ♥♥ The location is in a quiet part of the village, but within walking distance of all places you should visit. They also offer transportation (or will organize it for you), but that should not even be necessary. (Note that the hotels close to the beach are also close to the train station and the SS18 - all neatly packed between the beach and the steep ascent to the upper level of Scilla) Nice, clean and functional room and we certainly enjoyed the breakfast on the terrace. ♥

We should have stayed longer - but at times re-planning is just not possible anymore...

wonderful and charming place. we felt welcome from the very first moment we checked in. maria's tipp "how to explore Calabria in one day" was excellent. tasty breakfast buffet; I recommend their homemade marmelade with uva fragola :-) looking forward to coming back!
