Location, garden, room, kind owner :)

Beautifully restored old cottage with romantic patio, nice furniture, spacious 3-bed room, very good wines from their own winery.

The price is a lot higher when you book through booking than directly. Also we prefer to sleep our 2 year old between us on a double bed, but we had to pay for a separate bed since there were only single beds in the room. The food was good, but not exceptional. Once our soup was burnt. The electricity didn't work twice during our stay, once for the whole night and morning.

Charming country side penzion with beautiful garden and comfortable rooms. Breakfast choice was amazing. There are not really any restaurants near by, but the penzion offers a few dishes for lunch and dinner, which were very tasty. On offer were also self produced wines and wine tasting in private cellar. The young waitresses were very professional and smiley and the setting in the green courtyard was beautiful.

The penzion offers bicycle rental, we assumed of their own bicycles. So we reserved 2 bikes a week before coming. This was confirmed by the owner and no price mentioned. On arrival we were told that the bikes are delivered by rental from other town and that the penzion owner forgot to get them for the first day. It was a bit of disappointment and then we also realised that we have to pay for them. An apology of the owner would be welcome. Fortunately next day the bikes arrived and we had a great day cycling. Just a lesson for next time not to rely on anyone and organise our own. The walking shower is great, but a glass screen or mop would be useful. Fridge and kettle would be a bonus, but not an issue for us.
