The guy at the petrol station who is also responsible for the room was always helpful and friendly. Felt sorry for him as he was doing a lot and looked very tired.

The location is at a petrol station so expect noise and fuel fumes in the room. Terrible with a 2 year old who need quite for a good night sleep.

Parking right next to the door. Very nice little Italian restaurant within 10 minutes walking.

very minor: couldn't find switch for windowshutters right away (didn't know they were there). They were hidden in plain sight.

A friend an I stayed for 2 nights, while on a hiking trip. (Hiked during the day, slept in Heroldsberg.) Tankbar's Hotelchen is located on the main road and is easy to find. The room was very clean, new and well equipped. Beds were made every morning and coffee and water were provided in the room. Although it is located at a gas-station, shutters made sure the room was very quiet at night (Some extremely loud cars came through, but that's the fault of overly loud cars, not the room isolation). Breakfast was wonderful. The pictures on google maps display it exactly as it is, with fresh bread, croissants and orange juice. There was always plenty. The staff was very kind and uncomplicated (It's a family business) and the neighborhood was quiet. Heroldsberg has several very nice Restaurants as well, all within 5-10 minutes on foot and the train-station is only a five minute walk away. Since it is a gas-station, any necessities can be bought on location. All in all a very pleasant few days. If I ever go back to Nürnberg, I will be staying there again.

Super quiet room with super comfy beds. I liked the spacious, modern, cosy room. Very kind and helpful staff. There are just 3 rooms so very homey. Thanks a million for the possibility of late, contactless check-in! Given it's a petrol-station, we could immediately fill up the tank and continue our journey.

Staff could check requirements for breakfast first. Breakfast was ready made and excellent, but if you travel with kids, there is a big chance good food will go to waste.... and they are whining for egg, bacon and nutella :-D btw we asked for and got tasty eggs.

location is great, close to the highway. the place is very clean, staff is very kind.

the rooms are situated directly at the petrol station, but not easy to find: maybe a big logo or signage could help clients to find it. the bed was too soft for my taste.

Special thanks to Aura who went over and beyond, she looked after us in such way, i never had such perfect service anywhere else. The breakfast was amazing.

Not sure about the location We just needed something close to the motorway and didn't have time to look around but literally was everything perfect.

You don’t expect a fuel station motel to be run with a service like Hilton. Don’t be fooled by the outside appearance. As soon as you enter you notice impeccable cleanliness, Ritual toiletries, rich breakfast and abundance of towels. The staff is super helpful, above expectations.

All was perfect.
