Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich, für alle „Probleme“ gab es eine Lösung. Super schöne Zimmer und sehr sauber. Jeden Tag gab es zwei Flaschen Wasser gratis. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Meckern auf hohem Niveau.. Das Frühstück ist etwas dürftig und nicht sehr vielfältig. Aber trotzdem wurde man satt und es war in Ordnung. Kaffee ist lecker

Uns hat dieses Hotel erst auf den zweiten Blick gefallen, aber dann haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Pool, Restaurant und Meer sind alle sehr nahe beieinander, was wir total angenehm fanden. Man blickt beim Frühstücken auf das türkise Meer und es ist einfach traumhaft. Die Frühstücksauswahl fanden wir sehr gut, das Essen im Restaurant und auch die Cocktails sind etwas teurer, aber sehr gut. Für Getränke lohnt sich definitiv die Happy Hour von 13-15 Uhr, da kostet auch die Cola nur die Hälfte. Wir waren in der Karwoche hier und fanden es dafür trotzdem sehr ruhig und nicht überfüllt. Probleme eine Liege zu bekommen hatten wir gar nicht, weder morgens, noch wenn wir am Nachmittag von einem Ausflug zurück kamen. In diesem Hotel kann man auch direkt einen Scooter buchen und muss keine Sicherheit, wie Pass oder Geld hinterlegen, das war top!

Wir hatten mit unserem ersten Zimmer leider Pech, weil das Bad sehr unangenehm gerochen hat. Wir haben aber direkt nach dem gescheiterten Versuch es zu reparieren ein neues Zimmer bekommen und damit dann gar keine Probleme mehr. Man muss schon auch wissen, dass es einfach gar keinen Strand an diesem Abschnitt gibt. Man geht quasi direkt über eine Treppe ins Meer rein, was wir irgendwie total witzig fanden. Das Meer ist total flach an dieser Stelle und man kann locker zu einer Sandbank laufen. Tatsächlich sind wir den Chaweng Beach auch ein ganzes Stück weiter runtergelaufen, aber nirgendwo waren die Farben vom Wasser so schön wie hier. Wenn einem Strand aber wichtig ist, dann sollte man das schon mal überdenken.

Casa De Mar is really comfortable and nice place, especially if you take the private villa. We really liked our room and the pool area as well. The breakfast was great, lots of selection, and on site massage possibilty was also good. It was one of the best massages I have got during our time in Thailand.

The pictures might let the idea that the place has a great beach, actually you do not have such great beach with sand area, but the beach is literally against the terrace. But you have great access and the hotel has SUP boards to use. We enjoyed the sea many times.

Villa beach front !! Et Super massage !! Les deux personnes qui y travaillent sont très professionnelles.

L’eau était malheureusement pas très propre dans cette zone (peut-être du aux fortes pluies qui transportent les déchets du sol vers la mer)

Pool/ bar

Location is so far away from everything that’s going on in Samui. The beach was full of glass. My room was the furthest room away and there was construction outside my window.

Super freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, insbesondere ein Mitarbeiter hat alles für uns organisiert (Roller, Wäsche, Taxi, Taxi zur Fähre, etc). Ruhig gelegenes Hotel, schöne Bungalows, schöner Pool, direkter Zugang zum Meer (zum Schwimmen eher nicht geeignet, aber trotzdem traumhaft). WLAN war gut. Strandhandtücher gab es vom Hotel. Das Frühstück haben wir nicht ausprobiert. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war top.

Allgemein die Lage, weil nicht so viel los war. Würden dann in eine andere Region von Koh Samui gehen (hat aber nichts mit dem Hotel zu tun). Aber es gab alles fußläufig, was man gebraucht hat (7 11, Restaurants, etc.). Das Essen und die Drinks im Restaurant waren ok, aber nicht weltbewegend.

Great hotel with lovely staff. Very kind and everything is beautiful. The food. The massages. The view. Can rent scooter at hotel Rooms are clean and got everything you need. Good beds Stayed at the villa and at the superior room. We loved the superior room more because of the appartement feeling. The beach is super nice and private with free paddle board.

İt's a 12 min walk to busy chaweng street. But there are tuk tuk taxi driving every minute who can bring you. We did not mind this.

The swimming pool and restaurant were nice and there was a in-house massage service for a reasonable price. The rooms were comfortable.

Needed a taxi to reach the bar area and there was a hill to climb to reach the shops. The beach is extremely shallow and sandy. Reaching the beach itself was a 5-10 minute walk.

We stayed in the superior room on the first night ,thereafter upgraded to deluxe villa. The superior room is great and better than the deluxe villa in my opinion. The room was very spacious,comfortable bed and strong aircon. Awesome breakfast with lots of variety of food. Deluxe villa: great restaurant with complimentary lying beds available with great view of chaweng beach. It's next to the beach,so you can just jump into chaweng beach for a quick swim or stroll in the morning.

The water pressure from the sink was not okay and needs some repairing. Other than this, the superior room was just great. On the contrary, Deluxe villa was less good imo. Room was bigger (higher ceiling, which is okay for tall people but annoying when you need to catch mosquitos), large bathroom but no active air vents for smell. Our deluxe villa room was also one of the last rooms near the swimming pool, thus a bit noisy in the evening. Furthermore you had to go through the 'forest' with lots of mosquitos to reach your room. These bloodsuckers...

Enjoyed relaxing on the sun lounges in front of the beach and pool. Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff was a huge bonus.

Solo traveller - stayed in a beachfront bungalow and the view from my bed and mini garden was amazing. The beds are super comfy as is the bedding. Lots of space to lounge and store your stuff. The pool area is nice and they have onsite, pool side masseuses ready to go which you can bill to your room. Same prices as anywhere else. They have a bunch of paddle boards and kayaks you can use for free on a first come, first serve basis but there are always some available. It is shallow for miles so you can really head out from the shore by quite a distance and sunbathe on the board. The menu is pretty decent - I mostly stuck to the Thai food. The western food was ok but not terrible. Room service is super quick and the chambermaids are genuinely lovely as is the main man on the front desk - they're always happy to be helpful. Huge bath tub as well as shower which was nice. I unfortunately stayed during Valentine's Day which wasn't so fun for me as a solo traveller in a quiet part of Chaweng, but the couples were treated to a special valentine's dinner event - the staff spent all day setting it up which was sweet. They fumigate the area daily to help with mosquitos/bugs. The free WiFi is decent enough to skype, stream Netflix on most days and browse the internet generally. There are massage parlours, money exchange, ATM, a cannabis shop, moped hire/petrol and other restaurants/cafes here and there along the main road (2 mins walk away) plus a 7eleven 10 mins walk along the main road back towards central Chaweng. It's not walking distance to central chaweng but there are little bus trucks that can take you from the main road.

When this place was first set up, I bet it looked immaculate. Sadly some of the finishing in the bathroom lets the place down a little. Rust on the toilet bin that doesn't open properly, limescale everywhere, shower drain blocked to the point of flooding the bathroom (but this was fixed when requested). On some days the cleaning was rushed as floors were not swept, water/coffee not replaced or mirrors not cleaned etc... Not the end of the world though! I'm sure if id asked they would have made good. If you're a bit nervous about wildlife, you may find it tricky staying here as I had visitors (geckos, roaches and noisy birds living above and to the side of the bungalow) that did occasionally wake me up. That said, it is Thailand so you should expect some of this anywhere really. This place definitely feels like it's more for couples and the occasional family. Not much in the way of solo travellers or single people hanging out (some but not many) so if you're going solo and not hoping to meet new people, this will work for you. Overall, these aren't really complaints as I would expect this for a 4 star - it's more a realistic heads up. I'd still recommend it!

Location is on quite side of Chaweng, bungalow was very comfortable, staff was very attentive and nice, pool is great, excellent massages are next to the pool. It is great that you can leave your luggage for 2 days in luggage rooms when travelling to another island.

everything ! it was super cute and friendly, great views and even greater staff!! can’t wait to be back

Not much to complain about but perhaps be extra careful with letting little bugs in through our room door
