Location! Just steps from the beach. Andrea met us and responded quickly to our inquiries.
We booked two places together. One is called a two-bedroom apartment. This is not accurate. It is a great room with a side room, no door separating the two.
Also although they are in the same building technically, it is two different entrances so a little inconvenient to share spaces. Finally, you don’t want to open the windows at certain hours because of the fried fish shop just below the window. Air Conditioner stopped working during our last night.

The place is a little tricky to find but the owner came out and met us which was very kind as we arrived late. The restaurants close earlier here and he even gave us some pasta for our supper. The location is great. The town is very small so everything is walkable, beach, stores, cafes. There is a small kitchen just outside the bedroom which is shared with one other room. We used it to store snacks but chose to eat in the restaurant. . Very quiet at night and nice comfortable beds. There is a shared balcony which we enjoyed. The owner set us up with a guide for an amazing boat tour with snorkelling and cave swimming.. We loved our stay here.

Access to the terrace.
Shared house arrangements which provided no privacy and noise levels depending on other quests. No washing machines available in spite one being listed. Room had a very damp smell which become worse as time went on. Sharing terrace with smokers.

Apartment was close to the train station and in the centre of town
Kitchen facilities, although only one burner on portable stove worked
Not easy to check in as we didn’t have mobile phone access, lady across the street helped us by ringing the owner to organise access to apartment. Listing did not explain the number of steps (lots) to climb to reach the apartment, hard work dragging luggage. Terrace had stuff everywhere, not like the photos shown on the listing.

Very cool ended up with a little kitchen, tried our skill at cooking Italian style. Comfy bed and nice balcony.
Booking.com and google have the wrong location, so impossible to find unless you watch the video they send. Hopefully this is fixed .

Location supper. The middle of mine street.
From car parking to the hotel you need to go 15 min. This is because entrance by car to the turists is close (the same in other villages like Romaggiore and etc. - best choise is Monterosso, because car park is in the vilage).

Perfect location in the heart of Vernazza. Comfortable, spacious room for 4, with table and a fairly well equipped kitchen so that we could cook meals. Well stocked small grocery store right across the street. Washing machine! and lines to hang out laundry (just don't run the washer and the hot plate at the same time- fuse box is down by the main door in case one blows). Inside stairs to get to the room, but not too many. Might be difficult for some. No view of the water, but only a 1 minute walk to the sea.

Located right off the main walking strip. Nothing fancy but was perfect for what we needed.

Easy to find thanks to the video I was sent ahead of time. The room was a decent size and we were happy to have a small shared kitchen where we could make coffee in the morning. the windows were pretty good too, there's a lot of noise at night but with the windows closed it didn't bother us too much.
We paid a lot of money, but it felt like a hostel. The bed is super old, the walls look like they haven't been painted in 20 years. It was mostly clean but the shower had lots of mold and the moulding strip along all the bathroom walls was really dusty.

We were fortunate to have an apartment with a kitchen (full refrigerator and freezer) and a washing machine, which we used every day. The room was very spacious. It was very hot during our visit and we were thankful for air conditioning. We would have preferred that the air conditioning was colder, but it was adequate.
It was difficult to find the property and we needed to call to find our way. Thankfully they sent someone to help us to our room and we didn't have to climb all of the steps to the main door as our room was just off of the main street and up only one flight of stairs. There was no interaction with the host other than check in.
