Great breakfast, friendly staff, nice rooms, ideal location, relaxing, fire-pit, ideal break

Lovely finca surrounded by nature. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. Very big bathroom. The staff were very helpful.

This place is tricky if you are not coming in your own car. The location is further away from Salento than is indicated on Booking (it is about 4km away). To reach the hotel by public transportation, you need to take a bus from the Salento terminal (they leave every 20 min) which still leaves you a 10-minute walk from the hotel (you can call the managers and they will come and pick you up). In addition, only very basic food is served at the rancho (arepa, ham&cheese sandwich), so you cannot decide to just stay at the hotel for a couple of days and just enjoy the location. If you have a car, these issues disappear and this place is perfect

Only problem was booking site says 1.7 km and it is further to Salento.. We had planned to walk each day but that was not possible. Had to pay for taxi or uber each time. Only other concern was noisy when a guest was in the next room . Could hear every word. Other than that this hotel is delightful.

The description is not accurate for the property. 1. Far from town. If you don’t have a car, don’t stay here. 2. The access is a dirty road in terrible conditions. 3. The property has no food services and there is nothing near. 4. No hot water. 5. The bed linens were dirty. 6. The mattress was hard and old. 7. The room has no ventilation and therefore terribly humid.

Camillo was an exceptional host and gave us some great recommendations and even drove us in and out of Salento town when he could. Breakfast was very tasty and staff were very friendly :) the bed was very comfortable and the hotel was situated in a beautiful spot on the hill just outside the town. We Loved Mila the hotel dog too :) Highly recommend.

Friendliness of the staff. The place is so cozy. It has a unique view of the whole nature.

The road heading to the hotel needs lighting to guide drivers.

The owners and staff go above and beyond to assist and accommodate. As the property is a bit outside of Salento, (peaceful!) they help with transport and there is also a path offering excellent views, worth the trek up or down from Salento at least once. Our Spanish is not great, but that was not an issue, the friendly staff and owners found ways to communicate or made sure a family member with good English could help, this was not expected but made things even easier for us. The most welcoming place we stayed, for 3 nights, in Colombia.

Excellent location, quiet and beautiful scenery. If you want to disconnect and relax, this is the place for you.

Only one thing. There was hand soap instead of shower gel/soap in the shower.

.The owner, the staff, the location, the quietness... Perfect place to disconnect and enjoy the magnificent venue. Very helpful and so nice, they recommended authentic places to go. He booked for us. Incredibly nice all of them.

A bit noisy in the room. You can hear everything from the other rooms ( the last night some guest were particularly loud in the room next door)

Location is gorgeous - so peaceful & the rooms are so clean and cosy. Only a short journey into the town. The staff are so lovely and accommodating - they went above and beyond. So many things to do around the area - hiking, horse riding, exploring the town. Loved our stay at the Ranch, would recommend anyone to put it on their Colombia to do list! 10/10

No shower soap in the room. Just liquid hand soap in the sink.
