Amazing location with a great view over the Alps. It is close to the Chimsee, but far enough away from the city that you have peace and quiet. The rooms were spotless clean and felt very cozy. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever seen and served with a lot of care. The owners ensure that you feel comfortable and have the best stay possible. Overall 10/10 and would recommend to anyone looking to visit Bavaria.

Only a few minor things that could be better: - when turning the TV on it sets itself to a high volume by default (just something that needs to be changed in the settings) - the walls could use a bit of extra sound padding, since you could occasionally hear the TV from the room next door (very minor inconvenience)

The hotel is really amazing. Hosts were very friendly and make us feel like at home. Room were really nice, clean and cozy. I appreciate all details to feel comfortable. The breakfast was amazing!! everything fresh and a lot of choices. Great view from the balcony. Nature around is incredibly nice and lake Chiemsee is really close. we enjoyed our stay! thank you :-)

There is a lot to recommend this place, but I personally would not go back for one reason: it is very close to a church which rings it's bell EVERY FIFTEEN MINUTES ALL NIGHT LONG. And on the hour, it rings four times PLUS the number of the hour. So, at midnight, it's 4 + 12 rings. Now, if you close your window tightly, and if you are a heavy sleeper like my wife - no problem! But for me, a light sleeper - I did not get a single good night's sleep there. In fact, we left before our reservation was complete. I repeat: there are many good things about this place, including the breakfast and the fact that the proprietors are VERY nice and helpful. You DO NEED A CAR. There is only ONE place to eat within walking distance - about a 20 min walk.

Noise due to church bells nearby

Everything. The location was great - close to Chiemsee and lots of attractions, in a peaceful and quiet town, surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The Mountain view from the private balcony was amazing. The area is perfect for getting around by bike and there are loads of things to do and an impressive selection of restaurants. The owners and staff were extremely attentive and helpful, and at no time invasive. At breakfast they took time to speak with everyone for a few minutes, offering their advice on things to see and do in the area. One of the days it was raining, and when we arrived at breakfast they had already printed a list of things to do for all guests. Everything was well organized and clean. They had thought of every little detail. The room was big and had everything you need. The beds were comfortable and there were different sizes of pillows. We had a pleasant stay and came back home relaxed, which was the whole scope of our vacation.

amazing hoteliers and pretty much the best breakfast we could hope for. Owners were so kind that they event put the heating on (in July) when we came all weat from the bikes 🙏🏻
