The room was very big but very empty of furniture, could've had two chairs to relax in.

The location is nice just at the bottom of the mountain. The wooden building looked great from outside.
unfortunately we couldn’t get in. there is a self checkin system, we called the given number, someone picked up and gave some numbers but when I tried to get explained what to do with them they hanged up. We kept waiting and calling them for over an hour. It was minus 10 degrees… Finally the Customer Service of Booking said we have to be relocated due to unforeseen circumstances. It was a bad experience for us with this hotel, we lost 2 hours and had to find new accommodation.

Lovely guesthouse away from the busy Golden Circle but within easy driving distance to the top attractions and landmannalaugar. Good breakfast selection and spacious dining area.

We were pleased to find this guesthouse available on short notice and very well positioned for our visit the next day to Gulfoss and other attractions in Iceland's "Golden Triangle." The guesthouse is clean, located on a farm in a lovely pastoral setting, has a piano I was allowed to play, and offered a basic but tasty breakfast. We were grateful that the host allowed us to check in later than usual.
The rooms are small and very sparsely furnished, similar to a hostel or dorm but with private bathroom. A fine place to sleep but guests will want to spend their time exploring the many attractions in the area rather than hanging out at the guesthouse. Lodging in Iceland tends to be expensive during the summer and this was no exception; don't expect a bargain.

Great breakfast. Excellent shower.
We were offered dinner with a drink when we
arrived, which was after a 10 hour hike, and so
was appreciated very much.
This was the best accommodation of our 2
week holiday in Iceland.
The shower curtain support rail was too close
to the shower, which meant with the air
currents induced by a hot shower, the curtain
tended to cling. A trivial problem!

Perfect place in the middle of farm.
We loved a view from living room to horses. Very nice place .You can also taste some local drinks.

The lodge was incredible. The breakfast could not have been done any better. There were horses on the property, and the owner allowed us to go visit and pet them. The living area has many large windows and in the early morning during sunrise was my absolute favorite.

Stayed a night to break up drive from Reykjavik to Landmannalauger. Good location for that. Nice choices for breakfast. Very peaceful area. Unfortunately, didn't have time to explore surroundings.

The accommodation is very nicely located, in a calm setting. The room was comfortable, spacious and very clean. It is a very good value for money. I fully recommend it.

Excellent breakfast esp the homemade rhubarb jam and thespecial Alftod bread with nuts, seeds, dates and whole grain.
It was completely satisfactory for our purpose as a base for fishing in the area.

If you want to get away from everything, it's a perfect location for it. Also very close to many sights on the Golden circle.
