Huge 2 bedroom apartment (B) with balcony and outdoor sitting area, full kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine and 2 bathrooms. Parking available inside garage (though on a steep slope to get in), communication was easy with the owner through booking.com. about 15mins walk to the historical old town and marina.

Everything is great and it didnt bother us. If i had to be picky- towel were thin, no hairdryer, no bodysoap and shampoo but we brought our own. Rooms were by side of road so if you are sensitive to noises, it may bother you. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would be back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious, conveniently located apartment close to the old town. Beatriz was a wonderful host, providing restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. She even went out of her way to put some food in the fridge for us when she learned our flight was delayed to only arrive late in the evening. We made use of the pool and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace. Highly recommend!

Location was excellent. Short 10 min walk to everything. Very spacious apartment with everything you could need, including parking and a shared pool!

Very spacious and comfortable apartment with all the amenities specially of your travelling with babies and need to cook and do some laundry. Very comfortable beds and an amazing outdoor space, even has a swing in the patio. The location is perfect, 5 min walk from city centre but without the noise. Beatriz was an amazing host, always available and gave us great ideas for our trip.

It was almost perfect, although could use a few more pillows as the ones they have are a bit flat.

The apartment was lovely and was bigger than it looked in the pictures. It was clean and modern and the kitchen and utility room were well equipped. (A small number of washing and dishwashing pods were provided although we brought our own. ) There was a lovely sun deck with a dining table and bench swing, which was caught the sun in the afternoon. There was off-street parking available in the garage, which is a bonus in Funchal as the streets are so narrow. The flat is located a couple of streets back from the busy old town, so it’s ideal for accessing the amenities without being so close you can hear the noise. Beatriz, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly, offering us some great tips.

Needed some proper sunloungers around the pool rather than wooden chairs and maybe two comfy chairs for the balcony

Nice quiet apartment for the money, close to the sea and old town

The location was good and of easy access by public transportation, and easy access to the main road by car. It is also couple minutes walk to restaurants and bars. We were lucky to see a firework show that was happening this weekend without leaving the house. The house was well equiped for our stay. The owner was very kind and helped us any time we needed.

We ran out of hot water on the first day. But the issue was reported and fixed (it was an small adjust in configuration) so no further issues.

We stayed four nights during Funchal’s May 2022 Flower Festival. The apartment was huge, clean, airy, with a well-equipped kitchen and with expansive views across the city and the city harbor. Our hostess Beatriz was friendly and helpful with advice about Funchal and their neighborhood, and responsive when we had questions. The location was perfect for us: embedded in a neighborhood just outside the tourism corridor, so quiet at night, but a short walk to restaurants, the Monte cable car, Mercado dos Lavradores, and all the other sights in old Funchal. The apartment had a secure garage for our rented auto, but we mainly explored Funchal on foot. We are so glad we stayed here, and hope to return.

Beatriz was very helpful and responsive, making our stay easy and relaxing. The apartment was huge, bright, clean and well-located to the Old Town and center areas. It was a lovely spot!

Nothing about the actual apartment - it is great. I would point out that the pool is shared with a number of other apartments which I didn’t realize from the photos. It was a walk outside, into the garage and upstairs from our separate apartment. It is a lovely deck area and would recommend it though!

Great location in the Old Town, well equipped apartment, friendly hosts

The apartment was lovely, very clean and very well equipped. It is spacious and has superb views from the balcony looking down over Funchal and across the ocean. The location is excellent, and within a ten minute walk there are restaurants, bars, shops, the cable car and the seafront. On the way into town the walk took us passed the football stadium, so a bonus for my son and I was that we were able to just walk in on three different occasions to watch local teams playing matches (and to an impressive standard too!). The car park was very handy, and all in all this was a perfect accommodation that I would happily stay in again. Beatriz, our host, was communicative and kind, and obviously cares about the comfort of her guests.

10 minute walk to bars and restaurants

We stayed at the apartment for 4 days and it was wonderful! The place was big enough for 5 people, the rooms were big wide and comfortable and the kitchen was more than suited for preparing a big dinner for us all. In addition the laundry and drying room was a big help considring the fact that Madeira has it's fair share of rain, and another little bonus, the view from the balcony is absolutely stunning! A good word about the hostess, we got locked out of the apartment one day and beatriz came to the rescue quickly. All in all a wounderful experience
