The place was perfect with a lovely pool but undoubtedly the best thing about staying here was the hosts. Ying and David are so helpful and friendly and cannot do enough for you. They are always on hand to advise and act like it is no problem at all. They make it feel like you're staying with family. They even offered to take us places if they were going out and showed us some excellent restaurants and cafes. When we moved onto another place my daughter was unwell and they still offered advice and support even though we weren't staying with them. I really would advise staying here 🙂

Ying et David were very nice to me, they give me real good advices, and take really good care of me! My villa was very clean, it was a pleasure to stay at Reuan Phaolai ! Thank you very much!

It was perfect! Nothing to say at all!

We moved out stay at Reuan Phaolai. The villa was exactly what we needed for our family of 5. the best part though was our host Ying. Ying went above and beyond for our family and really let us feel and see what Samui is like- more than just a tourist location. highly recommend

The villa was great. Communication beforehand great, location great, but a car would be advantageous. There is a driver available should a taxi be needed. Wifi also good. Plenty of space for 3 of us. Thank you so much

The pool area was close by, but could do with a little TLC. You could walk to nearby hotels if you wanted a pool with a bar etc

.Nice place with big swimming pool, quite atmosphere and privacy. Close to nice beaches. Owner is veru helpfull.

Bathrooms were not so clean, but it was worth the price ✌️

The roominess, the location, the lack of traffic noise. David and Ying were great hosts.

Could have used a small pot for cooking. Other than that the kitchen was well equipped. The shower wand in the bathroom off the kitchen is calcified and needs to be replaced. These are my only minor nit picks.

Outstanding place

I wish I could write something I like apart from WiFi connection. We are very disappointed

We read previous reviews and booked this place, We travelled all the way from London with 2 kids was expecting great place to stay ,Unfortunately, it started day-1 ,we are told electric bill will be separately charged at the end of our stay which was 9 days total we booked .! They said they will charge for extra bed although we booked a king bed and two sofa beds for 4 of us. I said OK.  There was a tv but not working, we are told children can use Internet to watch something on mobile phones..:) kitchen equipment, table ,chairs, the wooden shed house was for a couple not a family ,unfortunately I paid in advance and did not want to create problem while I am on holiday . Day -2 shower problem started, very hot or cold ,dangerous for children to set the temperature, then no electric at all ,frequently different problems they had to sort it out . Day-3 , no daily cleaning ,they don't supply anything for general cleaning ,even no hand wash soap or shampoo ,even rubbish bag, you have to carry your rubbish bag to the main road by yourself .. Day-4 , our breakfast time again electric gone ,my wife in the middle of shower ,we have to go out for breakfast .and same day  decided early check out ,found much better place to stay in Lamai Beach area By the way , the area where this property you have Manem beach ,bophut beach and fisherman village is not pleasant to sit on or swim ,dirty sand beaches and very rough see ,not good for children . Best areas are Lepa noe beach ,lamai beach and  bong pa is very good for families. Don't book a taxi over travel agent or this property ,they charge a lot then original , this property charged me 500 baht for 10km ,10 minutes drive ,while I was charged by a yellow taxi for 35 minutes drive ,25km only 320baht..

The kettle was a bit dirty and Ying immediately replaced it with a brand new one!!! That's was sweet.

We absolutely loved this place, the house had everything we needed, the garden was beautiful, and the location was great. The owners are super nice and helpful.

Owners Ying and David were so polite and helpful such great hosts....David gave us a fabulous introduction and tour of the house and gave us tips on the area. Their bungalows were comfy especially the bed! Everything you need was already there and they were so kind to give us drinking water that they refill for you when you've run out. They even have connections to get cheap moped rental and laundry services conveniently located at the entrance of the road. We will return to Samui and will definitely be rebooking their accommodation! Highly recommend

- Great host both Ying and Mr.David (She was like a Samui wikipedia, just ask her what you need to know about Samui) - I got entire room with fully furnished I love how the villa has a nice kitchen so you can cook for yourself - Easy walk to convenient store and fresh market - Very peaceful environment - You need to rent a scooter to explore around nearby beach (Manam area has a nice beach) also the scooter shop was just 300-400 meters away
